Location

Hotel Eleftheria is located in the Agia Marina region, about 8 km west of Chania, which is easily accessible by public transport. The complex is situated on a hill offering a beautiful sea view. The kilometer-long sandy beach is about 850 m away; a free shuttle service to and from the beach is available daily. Shops and entertainment facilities are in the vicinity. Chania Airport is approx. 25 km away, Heraklion Airport approx. 150 km.

Facilities

The family-friendly complex has 89 rooms and offers a 24-hour reception, lobby with TV, lifts (one in the main building, one in the third building), luggage room, and a restaurant with terrace. Wi-Fi is included throughout the complex. In the well-maintained outdoor area, there is a swimming pool with a separate children's pool, sun terrace, and pool bar and snack bar. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pool, and at the beach for a fee. Pool towels are available for a fee.

Superior Double Room

The modernly furnished rooms have a shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, individually adjustable air conditioning, safety deposit box, mini-fridge, and a balcony or terrace (DSU/DSI). Optionally available as a budget room (SSZ), for single use (DE), or for an extra charge also with sea view (DMU).

Superior Family Room

The renovated Superior Family Rooms, with otherwise the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, consist of 2 double rooms with a connecting door, sharing 1 bathroom with bath/WC. The rooms have a balcony (F2U).

Note on Climate Resilience Contribution

For stays from 01/01/2018 onwards, the Greek government is levying a climate resilience contribution, which is to be paid by the guest locally, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and is tiered from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euro per day and room from 1.1.2025.
