The Maxine is located outside the village of Agia Galini with a fantastic view of the bay of Agia Galini. It is only approx. 800 m to the center and approx. 500 m to the sand/pebble beach. Shopping facilities, taverns, and bars can be found in the beautiful and quaint fishing village. Heraklion airport is approximately 90 km away.

The adults-only Hotel Maxine (bookable for ages 16 and up) is managed with a warm and familiar atmosphere by the hotelier's daughters, Evelina and Katherina, and was partially renovated in 2023. The 55 rooms are distributed across four building sections. The main building of the hotel houses the 18-hour reception with a cozy lobby, a bar, and a breakfast room/renovated restaurant with a fantastic panoramic terrace offering a magnificent view of the Agia Galini bay. Hammocks in the well-kept garden area promise special relaxation. Additionally, a swimming pool provides cooling, and a pool/snack bar offers refreshments (for a fee). Sun loungers and umbrellas are included at the pool; sun loungers and umbrellas are available at the beach for a fee. Bath towels can be borrowed for a deposit.
Wi-Fi is included in the public areas.

Double room sea view

The rooms are bright and friendly, featuring a shower/WC, hairdryer, toiletries, individually adjustable air conditioning, rental safe, satellite TV, refrigerator, electric kettle, coffee/tea station with two bottles of water upon arrival, balcony, and sea view (DM).
Optionally also bookable for single occupancy (DEM).

Double room Superior

With otherwise the same amenities as the double rooms with sea view, these rooms are renovated and do not have a sea view; however, the safe is included here (DSU).
Optionally bookable with sea view (DMU/DIM) for an extra charge. The maximum occupancy is only possible with two adults.

Junior suite sea view

The renovated junior suites are equipped like the superior double rooms, but are more spacious and additionally feature a sea view, an espresso machine (daily replenishment with two capsules), and a bottle of water in the room (J2M).

Suite sea view

The suites with sea view have the same amenities as the junior suites, offer a double bed as well as a sofa bed and additionally a coffee/tea station with electric kettle, are more spacious, and are laid out in an open-plan maisonette style (S2M).

Breakfast and (8-10 am) dinner (7-9 pm) buffet style. Packed lunches bookable upon request 24 hours in advance.

Note Climate Resilience Fee

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government has introduced a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on-site, comparable to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and is tiered from 0.50 euros to 15 euros per day and room as of January 1, 2025.
