Location

The family-run "Petra" hotel is built on a hillside in the central part of the village, on the main road of Agia Galini on the south coast of Crete. Shops, restaurants, and cafes can be found in the narrow, steep alleys or at the small harbor, about 150 m away. The nearest sand/pebble beach is 300 m away.
Heraklion Airport is about 80 km away, and a bus stop is about 100 m away.

The hotel, last renovated in 2022, is lovingly managed and offers 34 rooms, a reception with safes, a cozy lounge with a small library, a bar, a satellite TV corner, an internet corner, an air-conditioned common room/breakfast area with a terrace, and a new fitness studio. A small restaurant offers lunch and dinner (for a fee). Wi-Fi is free in public areas. The outdoor area features a freshwater swimming pool, sun terrace with loungers and umbrellas, and a pool bar.
The hotel offers free private parking.

Single Room

The double rooms for single use have a bathroom with shower/WC, telephone, air conditioning (included), Wi-Fi (included), mini-fridge, and satellite TV (German channels).

Superior Double Room

The Superior Double Rooms have the same amenities as the Double Rooms but are more spacious and have a balcony (DSU). Optionally available at an extra charge for single use (DSE), with sea view (DMU), or for single use with sea view (DME).

Junior Suite

The Junior Suites, with the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, have a seating area and a hydro-massage shower. The Junior Suites are also more spacious (JS2).

Note on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, payable by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, from 01.01.2025, will be tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room.
