Location

The family-run "Petra" hotel, built into a mountainside, is located in the central part of the village on the main road of Agia Galini on the south coast of Crete. Shops, restaurants, and cafes can be found in the narrow, steep alleys or at the small harbor, approximately 150 m away. The nearest sand/pebble beach is 300 m away.
Heraklion Airport is approx. 80 km away, and a bus stop is approx. 100 m away.

The hotel, last renovated in 2022 and lovingly managed, has 34 rooms, a reception with safes, a cozy lounge with a small library, a bar, a satellite TV corner, an internet corner, an air-conditioned lounge/breakfast area with a terrace, and a new gym. A small restaurant offers lunch and dinner (for a fee). Wi-Fi is free in public areas. The outdoor area features a freshwater swimming pool, sun terrace with loungers and umbrellas, and a pool bar.
The hotel offers free private parking.

Single Room

Double rooms for single use have a bathroom with shower/WC, telephone, air conditioning (included), Wi-Fi (included), mini-fridge, and satellite TV (DE).

Superior Double Room

The Superior Double Rooms have the same amenities as the Double Rooms, but are more spacious and have a balcony (DSU/DSI). They can also be booked for single use (DSE), with sea view (DMU), or for single use with sea view (DME) for an additional charge.

Junior Suite

The Junior Suites have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, with a seating area and a hydromassage shower. The Junior Suites are also more spacious (JS2).

Note for Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience contribution, which must be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and will be tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room from January 1, 2025.
