Location

The family-run "Petra" hotel, built into a mountainside, is located in the middle of the village on the main road of Agia Galini on the south coast of Crete. Shops, restaurants, and cafés can be found in the narrow, steep alleys or at the small harbor, approximately 150 m away. The nearest sandy/pebble beach is 300 m away.
Heraklion Airport is approximately 80 km away, and a bus stop is about 100 m away.

The hotel, last renovated in 2022 and lovingly managed, has 34 rooms, a reception with safes, a cozy lounge with a small library, bar, satellite TV corner, internet corner, air-conditioned lounge/breakfast area with terrace, and a new gym. A small restaurant offers lunch and dinner (for a fee). Wi-Fi is free in public areas. The outdoor area features a freshwater swimming pool, sun terrace with loungers and umbrellas, and a pool bar.
The hotel offers free private parking.

Single Room

Double rooms for single occupancy have a bathroom with shower/WC, telephone, air conditioning (included), Wi-Fi (included), mini-fridge, and satellite TV (German channels).

Superior Double Room

Superior double rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms but are more spacious and feature a balcony (DSU). Optionally available at an extra charge for single use (DSE), with sea view (DMU), or for single use with sea view (DME).

Junior Suite

Junior suites, with the same amenities as the superior double rooms, feature a seating area and a hydromassage shower. Additionally, the junior suites are more spacious (JS2).

Note for climate resilience levy

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government imposes a climate resilience levy, payable by the guest locally, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, from January 1, 2025, will range from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day per room.
For stays during the high season April 1 - October 31:
