Location

The family-run "Petra" hotel is built on a mountainside in the central part of the village, along the main road of Agia Galini on the south coast of Crete. Shops, restaurants, and cafes can be found in the narrow, steep alleys or by the small harbor, approximately 150 m away. The nearest sand/pebble beach is 300 m away.
Heraklion Airport is approximately 80 km away, and a bus stop is about 100 m away.

The hotel, last renovated in 2022, is lovingly managed and features 34 rooms, a reception with safes, a cozy lounge with a small library, a bar, a satellite TV corner, an internet corner, an air-conditioned lounge/breakfast area with a terrace, and a new fitness studio. A small restaurant offers lunch and dinner (for a fee). Wi-Fi is free in public areas. The outdoor area includes a freshwater swimming pool, sun terrace with loungers and umbrellas, and a pool bar.
The hotel offers free private parking.

The double rooms for single occupancy have a bathroom with shower/WC, telephone, air conditioning (included), Wi-Fi (included), mini-fridge, and satellite TV (DE).

Double Room Superior

The Double Rooms Superior have the same amenities as the Double Rooms but are more spacious and feature a balcony (DSU). Optionally available at an extra charge for single use (DSE), with sea view (DMU), or single use with sea view (DME).

Junior Suite

The Junior Suites, with the same amenities as the Double Rooms Superior, feature a seating area and a hydromassage shower. Additionally, the Junior Suites are more spacious (JS2).

Destination Information Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, payable by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and will be tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day per room from 01.01.2025.
