The Amira Luxury Resort brings a new style of luxury resort to the area, offering outstanding service and a warm, inviting atmosphere. This exclusive 5-star hotel is located on a 20,000 m² private plot on the north coast of Crete in the holiday area of Adelianos Kampos. Featuring a beautiful sand/pebble beach and a dreamlike view over the endless, deep blue Aegean Sea, it combines an elegant, natural environment and is the perfect choice to meet the tastes and expectations of travelers who value quality, elegance, privacy, and the experience of a unique holiday.
The Amira Beach Resort is located 75 km west of Heraklion International Airport or 60 km from Chania International Airport and just a 10-minute drive from the center of the beautiful historic city of Rethymno.

The Amira Luxury Resort is an "adult-friendly" hotel, bookable for guests aged 14 and over (bookable for guests aged 16 and over from 2027) and combines chic design with minimalist grace and amenities. The 172 rooms are modern and invitingly furnished. In addition to the lobby with reception, the hotel features a reading corner and a boutique. Alongside the main restaurant, two à la carte restaurants are available, as well as a lobby bar, a pool bar, and a beach bar. These are each subject to a charge. The spacious pool area with sun islands invites you to relax.
Comfortable sun loungers and parasols are available free of charge on the beach; beach towels can be borrowed free of charge.
Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel complex.
In the summer of 2027, the Amira Luxury Resort will be expanded to include the "Serenity Garden Zone" with new rooms. In the new area (accessible via a road), 42 elegantly furnished suites are being created which, thanks to their well-thought-out design, offer a spacious and stylish living ambiance and an ideal place for couples seeking peace and quiet. Each suite combines modern architecture, high-quality furnishings, and first-class comfort with a private outdoor area and a view of the lush gardens – creating an atmosphere of privacy, relaxation, and subtle luxury. The Garden Zone Suites have their own breakfast room, where guests can enjoy a first-class breakfast experience – a combination of a semi-à-la-carte offering and a carefully curated selection of fresh local and international specialties at the buffet. During the day, the "Garden Lounge & Bites" bar offers a variety of light dishes, refreshments, and drinks in a relaxed garden atmosphere. All facilities at the Amira Luxury Resort can be used (reservations are required in some cases). The beach is also accessible via the resort.

Double Room Superior

The spacious rooms feature a luxurious bathroom with a walk-in shower and a separate toilet. Amenities include a hairdryer, illuminated cosmetic mirror, scales, a selection of care products, bathrobes, and slippers. The room has a wardrobe with LED lighting, individual air conditioning, a fan, telephone, automatic lighting, 49" flatscreen TV, safe, coffee/tea-making facilities, espresso machine (2 capsules per day incl.), mini-fridge (replenished daily with 1 bottle of water), ironing equipment, and a furnished balcony with pool view (DSP).
Optionally available for single occupancy (DST) or at an extra charge with sea view (DMU/DIM, DME for single occupancy), as well as Seafront in the first beach row (RF2/W2D).

Double Room Superior Sharing Pool

With the same amenities as the Double Room Superior, these feature access to a sharing pool and are located on the ground floor (P2H). Optionally available with sea view for an extra charge (MH2).
The sharing pool is not monitored by a lifeguard. We ask for cautious behavior and special attention when using this area.

Double Room Superior Whirlpool Sea View

With the same amenities as the Double Room Superior, these feature an outdoor whirlpool and a side sea view (DSJ).

The spacious junior suites consist of a combined living area with a double bed and a sofa bed. Furthermore, there is a luxurious bathroom with a walk-in shower and a separate toilet. Amenities include a hairdryer, illuminated cosmetic mirror, scales, a selection of care products, bathrobes, and slippers. Beach towels are also provided. The junior suite features a wardrobe with LED lighting, individual air conditioning, a fan, telephone, automatic lighting, 49" Smart TV, safe, coffee/tea-making facilities (replenished daily), espresso machine (2 capsules per day incl.), mini-fridge (replenished daily with 1 bottle of water), ironing equipment, and a furnished balcony with a side sea view (J2S/JAS). A pillow menu is available on request for a fee at the reception.
Optionally available for an extra charge as a Junior Suite Seafront, located in the first beach row (JF2).

Junior Suite Sharing Pool

With the same amenities as the junior suites, these feature access to a sharing pool and pool view (J2).
The sharing pool is not monitored by a lifeguard. We ask for cautious behavior and special attention when using this area.

Suite Seafront Private Pool

With the same amenities as the Junior Suites Seafront, these are more spacious, elegantly and stylishly furnished, and feature a 49" Smart TV, a living/sleeping area, a separate bedroom with a king-size bed, and a furnished terrace with a private pool (Q2Q).
The private pool is not monitored by a lifeguard. We ask for cautious behavior and special attention when using this area.

Serenity Junior Suite Whirlpool (from 2027)

The Serenity Junior Suites are located in the new "Serenity Garden Zone" area and feature the same equipment and amenities as the junior suites in the main building. Additionally, sun loungers and a private whirlpool are available on the terrace with a view of the garden (JJW, only bookable with breakfast).

The Serenity Junior Suites are located in the new "Serenity Garden Zone" area and feature the same amenities as the junior suites in the main building. Additionally, sun loungers and a private pool are available on the terrace with a view of the garden (2XX, only bookable with breakfast).
The private pool is not monitored by a lifeguard. We ask for cautious behavior and special attention when using this area.

Meals

Half Board

The "NISOS" main restaurant is an open-air restaurant with a large terrace area and offers a continental breakfast for early risers (on request; please register at the reception one day in advance) and a rich American breakfast buffet (7:30-10:30 a.m.) with a selection of fresh fruit and juices, muesli, pastries/cakes, and delicious hot dishes at a large show-cooking station.
For dinner (6:30-9:30 p.m.), there is a tempting buffet with salads, local and international hot and cold dishes, pastries, and fruit, also served outdoors.
Show-cooking is available at both breakfast and dinner.
Gluten-free food is available on request.
Appropriate attire is requested for breakfast and dinner. Beachwear, shorts, flip-flops, and sandals are not permitted. Long trousers and closed shoes are mandatory for men.
Drinks are not included with dinner.

The AMIRA Beach Resort & Spa offers a state-of-the-art spa center with excellent facilities that provide luxurious treatments for relaxing and rejuvenating the body, mind, and soul: Heated indoor pool (April, May, and October), four different treatment rooms, a couple's suite with whirlpool, wet area with hammam, sauna, experience shower, as well as a beauty salon for manicures and pedicures, and a hairdresser (each for a fee).
When booking a spa treatment, the spa area can be used. Pure use without a treatment is possible with a reservation for a fee.

Destination information

For stays from 01/01/2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on-site, comparable to a tourist tax.
