The Amira Luxury Resort introduces a new style of luxury resort to the area, offering excellent service and a warm, inviting atmosphere. This exclusive 5-star hotel is situated on a 20,000 sqm private estate on the north coast of Crete, in the Rethymnon holiday area (Adelianos Kampos). With a beautiful sandy/pebble beach and a fantastic view over the endless, deep blue Aegean Sea, it combines an elegant natural environment and is the perfect choice to meet the taste and expectations of travelers who value quality, elegance, privacy, and the experience of a unique holiday.
The Amira Beach Resort is located 75 km west of Heraklion International Airport or 60 km from Chania International Airport, and just a 10-minute drive from the center of the beautiful historic town of Rethymno.

The Amira Luxury Resort is an 'Adults Only' hotel and a schauinsland-reisen original, bookable for guests aged 14 and over. It combines chic design with minimalist grace and furnishings. The 172 rooms are modernly and invitingly furnished. In addition to the lobby with reception, the hotel features a reading corner and a boutique. Besides the main restaurant, there are 2 à la carte restaurants (for a fee) as well as a lobby bar, a pool bar, and a beach bar (each for a fee). The spacious pool area with sun islands invites relaxation.
Comfortable loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge on the hotel's private beach; bath and pool towels are also provided free of charge.

Accommodation

Double Room Superior

The spacious rooms feature a luxurious bathroom with a walk-in shower and a separate toilet with an emergency phone. Amenities also include a hairdryer, illuminated vanity mirror, scale, a selection of toiletries, bathrobes, and slippers. Bath towels are also provided. The room has a wardrobe with a full-length mirror and LED lighting, individual air conditioning, fan, telephone, automatic lighting, Wi-Fi, 49" flatscreen TV, safe, coffee/tea maker (refilled daily), espresso machine (2 capsules per day included), mini-fridge (refilled daily with 1 bottle of water), ironing equipment, and a furnished balcony with pool view (DSP).
Available as single occupancy (DST) or at an extra charge with sea view (DMU/DIM, single occupancy DME) or as Seafront in the first row to the beach (RF2/W2D).

Double Room Superior Sharing Pool

These rooms, with the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, have direct access to the sharing pool and are located on the ground floor (P2H). Available at an extra charge with sea view (MH2).

Double Room Superior Jacuzzi Sea View

These rooms, with the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, feature an outdoor jacuzzi and sea view (DSJ).

Junior Suite

The spacious Junior Suites consist of a combined living/sleeping area with a double bed and a sofa bed. With the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, they feature a 49" Smart TV and a furnished balcony with a side sea view (J2S/JAS). A pillow menu is available upon request at reception (for a fee).
Available at an extra charge as a Junior Suite Seafront, located on the first row to the beach (JF2).

Junior Suite Sharing Pool

These rooms, with the same amenities as the Junior Suites, have access to the sharing pool and pool view (J2).

Suite Seafront Private Pool

These suites, with the same amenities as the Seafront Junior Suites, are more spacious, elegantly and stylishly furnished, and feature a 49" Smart TV, a living/sleeping area, a separate bedroom with a king-size bed, and a furnished terrace with a private pool (Q2Q).

Half Board

The main restaurant "NISOS" is an open-air restaurant with a large terrace area and offers a continental breakfast for early risers (on request; please register at reception 1 day in advance) and a rich American breakfast buffet (7:30-10:30 AM) with a selection of fresh fruits and juices, cereals, pastries/cakes, and delicious hot dishes at a large show-cooking station.
For dinner (7:00 PM-9:30 PM), there is an enticing buffet with salads, local and international hot and cold dishes, pastries, and fruit, also served outdoors.
Show cooking is available for both breakfast and dinner.
Gluten-free options are available on request.
Appropriate attire is required for breakfast and dinner.
Beachwear, shorts, flip-flops, and sandals are not permitted. Long trousers and closed shoes are mandatory for men.

The AMIRA Beach Resort & Spa offers a state-of-the-art spa center (380 sqm) with excellent facilities providing luxurious treatments to relax and rejuvenate body, mind, and soul: Heated indoor pool 50 sqm (April, May, and October), 4 different treatment rooms, a couples' suite with a jacuzzi, wet area with hammam, sauna, experience shower, as well as a beauty salon for manicure and pedicure, hairdresser (each for a fee).
Upon booking a spa treatment, guests can use the spa area. Pure use without a treatment is possible with a reservation, for a fee.

Information on Climate Resilience Contribution

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience contribution, payable by guests on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, starting from January 1, 2025, ranges from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day per room.
For stays during high season (April 1 - October 31):
National category 1-2 stars: 2 Euros
National category 3 stars: 5 Euros
National category 4 stars: 10 Euros
National category 5 stars: 15 Euros
For stays during low season (November 1 - March 31):
National category 1-2 stars: 0.50 Euros
