Location

The small, family-run hotel belonging to a German-speaking family is located approx. 600 m from the beach of Tigaki, one of the most beautiful beaches on Kos. Numerous tavernas, bars, shopping and entertainment options are within immediate reach. A bus stop is located approx. 50 m away. Kos Town is approx. 12 km away.

Facilities

This hotel, which can be booked as a Schauinsland-Reisen Original, is presented with a lot of heart and attention to detail. Together with the extremely warm and helpful manner of the owner and her equally welcoming team, nothing stands in the way of a typical Greek holiday "like with friends." Hospitality is truly lived here! In this small hotel with a modern design, the 86 rooms are spread across two buildings. The three-story main building has 50 rooms, while the annexe building, newly constructed for Summer 2025, offers 36 Deluxe rooms with a sharing pool (accessible only to the rooms situated there) or a hot tub on the balcony. In the entrance area, you will find the air-conditioned reception, lobby, and bar with a terrace redesigned for Summer 2025, which also houses the satellite TV corner. Wi-Fi is available free of charge in the lobby, the rooms, the restaurant, and by the pool. In the small, lovingly landscaped garden, there is a renovated swimming pool, a sun terrace with loungers and parasols, and the pool/snack bar. In the recreation room, darts and billiards are available for a fee. On the beach, sun loungers and parasols are provided by a third-party provider for a fee.

Superior Double Room

The modern rooms are located in the main building and offer every comfort. They feature a flat-screen TV with over 30 German channels, air conditioning (individually adjustable/included), rental safe, refrigerator, coffee and tea-making facilities with daily replenishment, and a balcony or terrace. The newly renovated bathrooms feature a walk-in shower with shower gel/shampoo, WC, magnifying mirror, and hairdryer. The rooms are located by the pool on the ground floor (DSU/DSI).
Also available for single occupancy (DSE).

Junior Suite

The Junior Suites are also located in the main building and offer the same comfort as the Superior rooms, with the addition of a cozy seating area behind a visual partition from the sleeping area, as well as a balcony (JS2/JSI).
Also available for single occupancy (JS1/J1A).

Suite

The suites are also located in the main building, feature a fresh design, and offer an additional separate bedroom compared to the Junior Suites. Both the living room and the bedroom are equipped with a flat-screen TV with over 30 German channels and their own air conditioning (S2/SI). Also available for single occupancy (S1).

Deluxe Junior Suite sharing Pool (bookable from 16 years)

The Deluxe Junior Suites with sharing pool, bookable from 16 years, are located on the lower floor of the annexe building newly constructed for Summer 2025. They offer otherwise identical facilities to the Junior Suites and have direct access to a sharing pool (J2D/J2/DJ1/JSU).
Also available for single occupancy (J1D/DEB).
The sharing pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We kindly ask for prudent behavior and special attention when using this area.

Whirlpool Deluxe Junior Suite (bookable from 16 years)

The Whirlpool Deluxe Junior Suites (2DJ/2JZ/DI/ZIP), bookable from 16 years, are located on the upper floor of the annexe building newly constructed for Summer 2025. They offer otherwise identical facilities to the Junior Suites and feature a hot tub on the balcony.
Also available for single occupancy (DE/DEA).
The hot tub is not supervised by a lifeguard. We kindly ask for prudent behavior and special attention when using this area.

Breakfast

A lovingly prepared breakfast buffet is available from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., featuring a selection of coffee specialties, juices, sparkling wine, and fresh fruit. Additional dishes such as French toast, eggs, crepes, and more are freshly prepared upon request.

Climate Resilience Fee Note

For stays starting from 01.01.2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on-site, comparable to a tourist tax.
