Location

The small, family-run hotel, managed by a German-speaking family, is located approx. 600m from the beach of Tigaki, one of the most beautiful beaches on Kos. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available from a third-party provider for a fee. Numerous taverns, bars, shops, and entertainment options are within easy reach. A bus stop is located approximately 50m away. Kos town is about 12 km away.

Facilities

This hotel, bookable as a schauinsland-reisen original, presents itself with a lot of heart and attention to detail. Together with the extremely warm and helpful nature of the owner and her equally cordial team, nothing stands in the way of a typical Greek holiday "like with friends". Hospitality is truly lived here! In the small, modernly designed hotel, the 86 completely renovated rooms are spread across 2 floors in the main building and in the new annex building with a sharing pool, built for summer 2025. The air-conditioned reception, lobby, bar with a newly designed terrace for summer 2025, and the satellite TV corner are located in the entrance area. Wi-Fi is available free of charge in the lobby and rooms, as well as in the restaurant and by the pool. In the small, lovingly landscaped garden, you will find the also renovated swimming pool, the sun terrace with loungers and umbrellas, and the pool/snackbar. Darts and billiards are available for a fee in the games room.

Double Room Superior

The modern rooms are located in the main building and offer all comforts. They feature a flat-screen TV with over 30 German programs, air conditioning (individually adjustable/included), a safe for rent, a refrigerator, and a coffee/tea maker with daily replenishment, as well as a balcony or terrace. The also renovated bathrooms have a walk-in shower with shower gel/shampoo, toilet, cosmetic mirror, and hairdryer. The rooms are located by the pool and are on the ground floor (DSU).
Also available for single occupancy (DSE).

Junior Suite

The Junior Suites are also located in the main building and have the same amenities as the Superior Rooms, plus a cozy seating area separated by a visual partition from the sleeping area (JS2).
Also available for single occupancy (JS1/J1A).

Suite

The Suites, also located in the main building, feature a fresh design and, compared to the Junior Suites, offer an additional separate bedroom. Both the living room and the bedroom have a flat-screen TV with over 30 German programs and their own air conditioning (S2).
Also available for single occupancy (S1).

Deluxe Junior Suite Sharing Pool (bookable for ages 16 and up)

The Deluxe Junior Suites with a sharing pool, bookable for ages 16 and up, are located on the lower floor of the new annex building built for summer 2025. They have direct access to the sharing pool, in addition to the same amenities as the Junior Suites (J2D).
Also available for single occupancy (J1D/DEB).

Whirlpool Deluxe Junior Suite (bookable for ages 16 and up)

The Whirlpool Deluxe Junior Suites (2DJ), bookable for ages 16 and up, are located on the upper floor of the new annex building built for summer 2025. In addition to the same amenities as the Junior Suites, they feature a whirlpool on the balcony.
Also available for single occupancy (DE/DEA).

Breakfast

A lovingly prepared breakfast buffet is available from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM, featuring a selection of coffee specialties, juices, sparkling wine, and fresh fruit. Other dishes such as French toast, eggs, crepes, and more are served fresh upon request.

Note on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from 01/01/2018 onwards, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest locally, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and will be tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room starting from 01/01/2025.
