Location

The Mitsis Ramira Beach Hotel is beautifully located directly on a beach awarded with the Blue Flag, bordering the district of Psalidi. The lively center of Kos Town is only about 3.5 km away and can be easily reached via a well-developed bike path. A bus stop is located only approx. 26 m from the hotel and offers regular bus connections several times a day. The long pebble beach is about 30 m away. Kos airport is around 27 km away.

The Mitsis Ramira Beach Hotel is an extensive, modern, upscale hotel complex with a total of 338 rooms. The complex consists of a main building and eight bungalow buildings and is harmoniously nestled in a lush garden.
The main building houses a 24-hour reception, a welcoming lobby, a TV room, a souvenir shop, a jeweler, as well as three restaurants and five bars. The individual parts of the complex are grouped around a spacious garden area with several sunbathing lawns.
Facilities include two seawater pools, an additional pool with three water slides, an integrated children's pool, and a whirlpool. Sun loungers, parasols, and pool towels are available free of charge throughout the complex; modern and comfortable wooden loungers are available on the beach at no extra cost. Wi-Fi can be used free of charge throughout the hotel.

Double room pool view

Spacious and tastefully furnished with a double bed and a sofa bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), bathroom with bathtub, bathrobes and slippers, hairdryer, telephone, mini-fridge, coffee/tea station, 32'' flatscreen satellite TV, safe, marble floor, pool towels, pool view, and balcony or terrace (approx. 32 m²) (PD).
Optionally bookable as a double room with pool or sea view (PM) or with direct sea view (DM).
Also optionally bookable for single use with pool view (PDE) or direct sea view (DEM).

Double room Deluxe

With the same amenities as the double rooms, additionally featuring a Nespresso machine with capsules, fresh flowers, and a pillow menu (DD2).

Family room

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these feature a garden view and additionally include a room connected by a sliding door with further sleeping options (DF2). Optionally bookable with sea view (F2M) or pool view (FP2).

Family room private pool

With the same amenities as the family rooms, these additionally feature a private pool (R2F).
The private pool is not monitored by a lifeguard. We request prudent behavior and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased potential danger for small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, schauinsland-reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Mitsis indulges guests around the clock with tasty delicacies and varied drinks.
Small early breakfast from 4–7 am, sumptuous breakfast buffet from 7–10:30 am including freshly squeezed orange juice, smoothies, and a Greek corner with local delicacies. Lunch from 12:30–2:30 pm in buffet form. Dinner from 6:30–9:30 pm features rotating theme nights (4x per week), presented as a generous buffet. In addition, the buffet in the main restaurant offers a vegetarian selection for lunch and dinner. Beer, wine, soft drinks, water, espresso, cappuccino, and juices are served with meals. A buffet with cold and hot dishes is also available from 9:30 pm–4 am.
An extensive range of à-la-carte restaurants and bars leaves nothing to be desired.

Italian à-la-carte restaurant "Il Grande Forno":
An à-la-carte brunch is available from 9 am–12 pm (except Saturdays), and freshly prepared Italian delicacies are available from 6:30 pm–9:30 pm.
Meat à-la-carte restaurant:
Delicious meat dishes and salads are prepared from 6:30 pm–9:30 pm (except Thursdays).
Beach Bar & Canteen:
Refreshments, beer, and long drinks are available here from 10 am–6 pm (until midnight in July/August). Gyros, burgers, hot dogs, and salads are also available from 12 pm–5 pm.
Main Bar:
The main bar is a meeting point in the main building from 10 am–midnight, offering a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, hot beverages, and afternoon coffee.
Sunset Lounge Bar:
The ideal place for an aperitif before dinner or a drink afterwards; various refreshments are available here from 6 pm–2 am.
Crêperie-Gelateria:
Delicious pastries and ice cream are available there from 10 am–6 pm.
The "Chess" Bar:
A quiet pool bar to relax and enjoy a cocktail. Drinks are served here from 10 am–midnight. An extended cocktail menu is available from 8 pm–midnight.
"Aqua" Pool Bar:
Located directly by the water slides, this bar offers refreshments, hot beverages, and slush from 10 am–6 pm. Toast and sandwiches can also be ordered.
During the day, there are also various stands with cotton candy and popcorn at the Aqua Bar (in July/August).
A lunch package can be provided for excursions; please register at the reception by 8 pm the previous day.
Vegetarian dishes and meals for special dietary requirements are available on request. Please contact the reception for this.

Sports included

Trekking and cycling tours, mini football, basketball and football court, games room, tennis court (with floodlights and equipment), table tennis, darts, archery, outdoor gym equipment, beach volleyball, water polo, canoes, and pedal boats.

Sports for a fee

Water sports center with water skiing, jet skiing, parasailing, tubes, banana boat, etc., as well as horse riding (on horses or ponies, on request), billiards, table football, windsurfing, kitesurfing, and diving.

Children's program

The hotel offers a varied leisure program for children and teenagers. This includes a freshwater children's pool with slides, a playground, and a children's restaurant. The Mini Club is open to children from 4 to 7 years old, while the Maxis (8–12 years) are supervised in July and August. For teenagers from 13 to 16 years, there is a Junior Club in July and August. The offer is rounded off by a mini disco and a games room for teenagers, which can be used for a fee.

Massages are offered on request and for a fee.

Entertainment

From morning until afternoon, the hotel offers various activities including gymnastics, sports, games, and meditation. Shows with live music and a DJ take place in the evening. A traditional Greek night with an orchestra and dancers is held once a week.

Note on climate resilience fee

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government has introduced a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on site, comparable to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and, as of January 1, 2025, is staggered from 0.50 Euro to 15 € per day and room.
