Location

The Mitsis Ramira Beach Hotel is fantastically situated directly on a Blue Flag awarded beach, adjacent to the Psalidi district. The vibrant center of Kos Town is only about 3.5 km away and can be easily reached via a well-maintained cycle path. A bus stop is located just approx. 26 m from the hotel and offers public bus connections several times a day. The long pebble beach is about 30 m away. Kos Airport is around 27 km away.

The Mitsis Ramira Beach Hotel is a spacious, modern upscale hotel complex with a total of 338 rooms. The complex consists of a main building and eight bungalow buildings and is harmoniously embedded in a lush garden.
The main building features a 24-hour reception, a welcoming lobby, a TV room, a souvenir shop, a jeweler, as well as three restaurants and five bars. The individual building sections are grouped around a generous garden area with several sunbathing lawns.
Facilities include two seawater pools, an additional pool with three water slides, an integrated children's pool, and a whirlpool. Sun loungers, sun umbrellas, and pool towels are available free of charge throughout the complex; modern and comfortable wooden loungers are available at the beach at no extra cost. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel.

Double Room Pool View

These are spacious and tastefully furnished with a double bed and a sofa bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), bathroom with bathtub, bathrobes and slippers, hairdryer, telephone, mini-fridge, coffee/tea station, 32'' flatscreen satellite TV, safe, marble floor, pool towels, pool view, and a balcony or terrace (approx. 32 m²) (PD).
Optionally bookable as a double room with pool or sea view (PM) or with direct sea view (DM).
Optionally bookable for single use with pool view (PDE) or direct sea view (DEM).

Double Room Deluxe

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these additionally feature a Nespresso machine with capsules, fresh flowers, and a pillow menu (DD2).

Family Room

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these feature a garden view and additionally include a room connected by a sliding door with further sleeping options (DF2). Optionally bookable with sea view (F2M) or pool view (FP2).

Family Room Private Pool

With the same amenities as the family rooms, these additionally feature a private pool (R2F).
The private pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We request careful behavior and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased potential hazard for small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, a minimum age of 6 years applies for children for bookings of these room types at Schauinsland-Reisen.

Ultra All Inclusive

Mitsis pampers you around the clock with tasty delicacies and varied drinks.
Small early bird breakfast from 4-7 AM, sumptuous breakfast buffet from 7-10:30 AM including freshly squeezed orange juice, smoothies, and a Greek corner with local delicacies. Lunch from 12:30-2:30 PM in buffet style. For dinner from 6:30-9:30 PM, there are alternating theme nights (4x per week), presented as a generous buffet. In addition, the buffet in the main restaurant offers a vegetarian selection for lunch and dinner. Beer, wine, soft drinks, water, espresso, cappuccino, and juices are served with meals. From 9:30 PM-4 AM, a buffet with cold and warm dishes is additionally available.
An extensive range of à-la-carte restaurants and bars leaves nothing to be desired.
(Once per week per à-la-carte restaurant, subject to prior reservation and availability.)
Italian à-la-carte restaurant "Il Grande Forno":
From 9 AM-12 PM (except Saturdays) an à-la-carte brunch is available; from 6:30-9:30 PM, freshly prepared Italian delicacies are always on offer.
Meat à-la-carte restaurant:
From 6:30-9:30 PM (except Thursday), delicious meat dishes and salads are prepared.
Beach Bar & Canteen:
Here you can find refreshments, beer, and long drinks from 10 AM-6 PM (in July/August until midnight). Gyros, burgers, hotdogs, and salads are also available from 12 PM-5 PM.
Main Bar:
From 10 AM-midnight, the main bar is a meeting point in the main building with a diverse offer including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, hot beverages, and afternoon coffee.
Sunset Lounge Bar:
The ideal place for an aperitif before dinner or a drink afterwards; from 6 PM-2 AM, various refreshments are served here.
Crêperie-Gelateria:
From 10 AM-6 PM, delicious pastries and ice cream are served.
The "Chess" Bar:
A quiet pool bar to enjoy a cocktail in a relaxed atmosphere. Drinks are served here from 10 AM-midnight. From 8 PM-midnight, an extended cocktail menu is available.
"Aqua" Pool Bar:
Located directly at the water slides, this bar offers refreshments, hot drinks, and slush from 10 AM-6 PM. Toast and sandwiches can also be ordered.
At the Aqua Bar, there are also various stalls with cotton candy and popcorn during the day (in July/August).
A lunch package can be provided for excursions; please register at the reception by 8 PM the previous day.
Vegetarian and special dietary meals are available on request. Please contact the reception for this.

Sports included

Trekking and cycling tours, mini football, basketball and football court, games room, tennis court (with floodlights and equipment), table tennis, darts, archery, outdoor gym equipment, beach volleyball, water polo, canoes, and pedal boats.

Sports for a fee

Water sports center with water skiing, jet skiing, parasailing, rings, banana boat, etc., as well as horseback riding (on horses or ponies, on request), billiards, foosball, windsurfing, kitesurfing, and diving.

For children and teenagers, the hotel offers a varied leisure program. This includes a freshwater children's pool with slides, a playground, as well as a children's restaurant. The Mini Club is open to children aged 4 to 7, while the Maxis (8–12 years) are supervised in July and August. For teenagers aged 13 to 16, there is a Junior Club in July and August. The offer is rounded off by a mini disco and a games room for teenagers, which can be used for a fee.

Massages are offered on request and for a fee.

Entertainment

From morning until afternoon, the hotel offers various activities including gymnastics, sports, games, and meditation. In the evening, shows with live music and a DJ take place. Once a week, a traditional Greek night is held with an orchestra and dancers.

Information on Climate Resilience Fee

For stays starting from Jan 1, 2018, the Greek government charges a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and is tiered from Jan 1, 2025, from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euro per day and room.
