Location

The Mitsis Ramira Beach Hotel is beautifully situated directly on the Blue Flag awarded beach, adjacent to the Psalidi district. The vibrant center of Kos Town is only about 3.5 km away and easily accessible via a well-developed bike path. A bus stop is located just approx. 26 m from the hotel, offering scheduled bus services several times a day. The long pebble beach is about 30 m away. Kos Airport is around 27 km away.

The Mitsis Ramira Beach Hotel is a spacious, modern, upscale hotel complex with a total of 338 rooms. The complex consists of a main building and eight bungalow buildings and is harmoniously nestled in a lush garden.
The main building houses a 24-hour reception, a welcoming lobby, a TV room, a souvenir shop, a jeweler, as well as three restaurants and five bars. The individual building sections are grouped around a spacious garden area with several sunbathing lawns.
Facilities include two saltwater pools, an additional pool with three water slides, an integrated children's pool, and a whirlpool. Sun loungers, sun umbrellas, and pool towels are available free of charge throughout the complex; modern and comfortable wooden loungers are available on the beach at no extra cost. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel.

Double room pool view

Spacious and tastefully furnished with a double bed and a sofa bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), bathroom with bathtub, bathrobes and slippers, hairdryer, telephone, mini-fridge, coffee/tea station, 32'' flatscreen satellite TV, safe, marble floor, pool towels, pool view, and balcony or terrace (approx. 32 m²) (PD).
Optionally bookable as a double room with pool or sea view (PM) or with direct sea view (DM).
Also optionally bookable for single use with pool view (PDE) or direct sea view (DEM).

With the same amenities as the double rooms, plus a Nespresso machine with capsules, fresh flowers, and a pillow menu (DD2).

Family room

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these offer a garden view and additionally feature a room connected by a sliding door with further sleeping options (DF2). Optionally bookable with sea view (F2M) or pool view (FP2).

Family room private pool

With the same amenities as the family rooms, these additionally feature a private pool (R2F).
The private pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We request cautious behavior and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk potential for small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Mitsis indulges guests around the clock with tasty delicacies and varied drinks.
Small early-bird breakfast from 4:00 AM – 7:00 AM, sumptuous breakfast buffet from 7:00 AM – 10:30 AM including freshly squeezed orange juice, smoothies, and a Greek corner with local delicacies. Lunch from 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM in buffet style. For dinner from 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM, there are alternating theme nights (4x per week), presented as a generous buffet. Additionally, the buffet in the main restaurant offers a vegetarian selection for lunch and dinner. Beer, wine, soft drinks, water, espresso, cappuccino, and juices are served with meals. From 9:30 PM – 4:00 AM, a buffet with cold and warm dishes is also available.
An extensive range of à-la-carte restaurants and bars leaves nothing to be desired.
(Once per week per à-la-carte restaurant upon prior reservation and subject to availability.)
Italian à-la-carte restaurant "Il Grande Forno":
From 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (except Saturdays) an à-la-carte brunch is available; from 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM there are always freshly prepared Italian delicacies.
Meat à-la-carte restaurant:
From 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM (except Thursdays) delicious meat dishes and salads are prepared.
Beach Bar & Canteen:
Here you can find refreshments, beer, and long drinks from 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (in July/August until 12:00 AM). Additionally, gyros, burgers, hot dogs, and salads are available from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM.
Main Bar:
From 10:00 AM – 12:00 AM, the main bar is a meeting point in the main building with a diverse range of offers such as alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, hot beverages, and afternoon coffee.
Sunset Lounge Bar:
The ideal place for an aperitif before dinner or a drink afterwards; from 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM, diverse refreshments are available here.
Crêperie-Gelateria:
From 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, there is delicious pastry and ice cream.
The "Chess" Bar:
A quiet pool bar to enjoy a cocktail in relaxation. Drinks are served here from 10:00 AM – 12:00 AM. Between 8:00 PM – 12:00 AM, there is an expanded cocktail menu.
"Aqua" Pool Bar:
Right by the water slides, this bar offers refreshments, hot beverages, and slush from 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Additionally, toast and sandwiches can be ordered.
At the Aqua Bar, there are also various stands with cotton candy and popcorn during the day (in July/August).
A lunch package is gladly provided for excursions; please register at the reception by 8:00 PM the previous day.
Vegetarian dishes and meals for special dietary needs are available upon request. Please contact the reception for this.

Trekking and bike tours, mini football, basketball and football court, game room, tennis court (with floodlights and equipment), table tennis, darts, archery, outdoor gym equipment, beach volleyball, water polo, canoes, and pedal boats.

Sports for a fee

Water sports center with water skiing, jet skiing, parasailing, rings, banana boat, etc., as well as horse riding (on horses or ponies, upon request), billiards, foosball, windsurfing and kitesurfing, as well as diving.

For children and teenagers, the hotel offers a varied leisure program. This includes a freshwater children's pool with slides, a playground, and a children's restaurant. The Mini Club is open to children from 4 to 7 years old, while the Maxis (8–12 years) are supervised in July and August. For teenagers from 13 to 16 years old, the Junior Club is available in July and August. The offer is rounded off by a mini disco as well as a game room for teenagers, which can be used for a fee.

Massages are offered upon request and for a fee.

Entertainment

From morning until afternoon, the hotel offers various activities including gymnastics, sports, games, and meditation. In the evening, shows with live music and a DJ take place. Once a week, a traditional Greek evening with an orchestra and dancers is held.

Climate Resilience Fee Note

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government has introduced a climate resilience fee, to be paid by the guest locally, comparable to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and, as of January 1, 2025, is staggered from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euro per day and room.
