Location

Gaia Royal is located near the fishing village of Mastichari, about 10 km from the airport and around 20 km from the port. The sandy/pebble beach is just a few minutes' walk away and offers a magnificent view of the Aegean Sea. Regular public bus connections to Kos Town and Mastichari are available, with the nearest stop approximately 700 m away. The friendly and relaxed atmosphere makes the hotel an ideal choice for a relaxing holiday.

The resort is built in a Greek village style and consists of a main building and several two-story bungalows. The entire complex covers 70,000 m² with a total of 311 rooms, beautiful gardens, reception, lobby and Wi-Fi, satellite TV area, main restaurant with terrace, as well as a mini-market and a souvenir shop. In the well-kept outdoor area, there are three swimming pools with free sun loungers and umbrellas, as well as 2 pool bars. Pool towels are available for a deposit, and a change costs a small fee. Sun loungers and umbrellas can be used on the beach for a fee. Parking is available at the hotel.

Superior Double room

The renovated Superior Double rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms and a completely renovated bathroom with a walk-in shower (DSU). Also bookable for single use (DAE). Also bookable as Superior Double Comfort Room (CU2).

American breakfast buffet from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM, lunch buffet from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, and dinner buffet from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM. Snacks from 10 AM to 6 PM (hot and cold snacks) at the pool bar. Drinks from 10 AM to 11 PM at the bars included (local soft drinks, juices, filter coffee, house wine, draft beer, Ouzo, whiskey, gin, rum, tequila, and vodka). Coffee and tea time daily from 4 PM to 5 PM. Cakes and cookies are also served during coffee time. Ice cream is available from 11 AM to 5 PM.

Information on climate resilience levy

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and is tiered from €0.50 to €15 per day and room from January 1, 2025.
