Location

The Gaia Palace Hotel is built in a village style and consists of a main building and several bungalows. It covers 29,000 m², features traditional gardens, and is located approximately 500 m from the beach. The resort is near the fishing village of Mastichari, only 10 km from the airport and 18 km from Kos Town. From Mastichari, there are regular public bus connections to Kos Town.

The complex consists of a main house and several two-story bungalows and offers a total of 154 modernly furnished rooms. Facilities include a reception with lobby, a satellite TV area, a main restaurant with terrace, two pool bars, a beach bar, and a minimarket. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel grounds.
The well-maintained outdoor area features four swimming pools with a separate children's pool. Sun loungers and parasols are included both by the pool and on the beach.

Superior Double Room renovated

The Superior Double Rooms, freshly renovated for summer 2024, shine with a fresh design and are furnished in a modern style. They are equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, satellite TV with music channel, telephone, toiletries, coffee and tea maker, minibar (for a fee), mosquito net, safe, air conditioning, fridge as well as balcony or terrace (DSU/DSI).
Also bookable as single use (DSE).

Superior Double Room with private sunbeds

Double Room Deluxe

Located in the newly built section. Highly modern equipped with walk-in shower/WC, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers, toiletries, LCD TV with music channel, telephone, air conditioning, coffee/tea maker, safe, minibar (for a fee), mosquito net, and balcony or terrace (DD2). Also optionally bookable for triple occupancy with additional sleeping option (DD3).

Family Room

Same amenities as the double rooms but with a separate sleeping area (DF2).

Villa with Private Pool

The spacious and modern villas with private pool offer a luxurious living area, shower/WC, hairdryer, bath towels, air conditioning, 2 LCD TVs with music channel, telephone, kitchen, coffee/tea maker, separate bedroom and Wi-Fi (2IO).
The private pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. Careful behavior and particular attention when using this area are requested.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk for small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children booking this room type.

Deluxe Family Room

Also located in the newly built section and furnished in a highly modern style. They feature a separate bedroom and a spacious living room. The modern bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower/WC, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers, as well as toiletries. Additionally, the suites offer an LCD TV with music channel, telephone, air conditioning, coffee/tea maker, safe, minibar (for a fee), and mosquito net (2DF).

All Inclusive (A)

The gastronomic offer includes an American breakfast buffet from 7:30 to 10:30 am, lunch from 12:30 to 2:30 pm, and dinner from 6:30 to 9:30 pm. Appropriate attire is recommended during dinner. House wine, draft beer, and local soft drinks are available during meals.
An early riser breakfast is served from 5 to 7 am (registration required the day before). Cold and warm snacks are served from 10 am to 6 pm and from 9 pm to midnight, ice cream from 11 am to 5 pm.
Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks including soft drinks, filter coffee, house wine, draft beer, ouzo, brandy, and three included cocktails are available at the open bars from 6 to 9 pm. Coffee and tea are served from 4 to 5 pm.
Theme nights take place twice weekly.

All Inclusive Plus (Q)

When booking All Inclusive Plus, you additionally receive draft beer, soft drinks, and instant coffee at the beach bar, bottled mineral water at the bars, branded soft drinks, various bottled beers, local wines served in bottles, branded alcoholic beverages & cocktails at the bars.

Not included in All Inclusive

When booking All Inclusive (A), the services under AI Plus (Q) and generally the drinks at the beach bar are not included. Special cocktails and premium alcoholic drinks as well as the beach party (once a week) are available to all guests for an additional charge.
