The family-friendly Horizon Beach hotel is quietly located directly on the gently sloping sandy beach on the outskirts of Mastichari. The town center is about 2 km away, and Kos Town is around 20 km away. A public bus stop is located directly in front of the hotel. The airport is approx. 7 km away.

The appealing and extensive hotel complex has 536 rooms, spread across a main building and 2- to 3-story bungalow buildings. The main building houses the elegant lobby with a 24-hour reception, a lounge, an amphitheater, and a TV room. Two large main restaurants with a stylish ambiance offer views over the pools to the sea. There is also a snack bar on the beach. Further facilities include a tavern, the main bar, a minimarket, and a spa area. The garden area features four freshwater swimming pool landscapes, each with pool/snack bars, and five children's pools are also available. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pools, and at the beach for a fee. Bath towels can be rented for a fee. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel complex.

Double Room

The renovated rooms are spacious and stylishly furnished with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, refrigerator, safety deposit box (rental fee), air conditioning, and balcony/terrace with garden or pool view (D/DI). All rooms are located on the ground floor up to the 2nd floor.
Optionally available at an additional charge with side sea view (DMS), direct sea view (DM), or on the ground floor as type A (DA).
Additionally, available at an extra charge as a Double Room Seafront (D2W).

Single Room

These are double rooms for single occupancy on the ground floor (DE).
Optionally available at an additional charge with garden view (DEA), side sea view (DES/EIA), or as a Double Room Superior for single occupancy (DSE).

Family Room

With otherwise identical amenities to the double rooms, the family rooms consist of a living/sleeping area and a separate bedroom. The rooms are connected by a small private hallway, are located on the pool side with garden view, and have a balcony or terrace (DF2).

Double Room Superior

These rooms, with identical amenities to the double rooms, feature a bath/walk-in shower and are located in the newer building section (DSU/DSI).
Optionally available at an additional charge as a Double Superior Seafront (RF2).

Family Room Superior

These family rooms are more spacious than standard family rooms, with identical amenities (F2U).
Optionally available at an additional charge with 2 separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (one with a shower, the other with a bathtub) and sea view (FMZ).

American breakfast buffet (7-10 am) and dinner (6:30-9:30 pm) served buffet-style.
Drinks are not included with dinner.
Appropriate attire is requested for dinner (gentlemen in long trousers and no sleeveless shirts).

Note on Climate Resilience Fee

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, payable by the guest locally, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, from 01.01.2025, is tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day per room.
