This fantastically beautiful holiday resort, built in a Greek style, meets high expectations and is located in the immediate vicinity of the kilometer-long, white sandy beach, which has been awarded the "Blue Flag". The picturesque fishing village of Mastichari with its taverns and various shopping facilities is approx. 5 km away. Kos Town is approx. 18 km away. A local bus connection can be found nearby. The airport is approx. 8 km away.

The comfortable resort, with a total of 569 rooms, is situated in an extensive, well-kept garden area that extends to the beach dunes and offers a fantastic view of the island of Kalymnos. The main building houses an elegant reception hall with a 24-hour reception as well as the lobby bar. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the resort. Furthermore, this luxurious holiday complex offers a renovated dining room, numerous bars (some with a dreamlike view of the sea), a gelateria, a mini-market, and a shopping arcade with a jeweler, clothing, shoe, and leather goods store, a souvenir shop, and an ATM. A rich selection of local and international dishes can be enjoyed in the four different à la carte restaurants. The entire complex features four swimming pools (one is heated in April, May, and October), which are evenly distributed across the grounds, as well as a whirlpool. An indoor pool is also available. Sun loungers, parasols, and beach towels are provided free of charge on the sun terraces and at the beach. Two beach bars are also located there. A mini water park provides great holiday fun for our little guests, while adults can be pampered in the luxurious Neptune Spa.

Accommodation

Double room

The double rooms are located in the main building and are individually and tastefully furnished with a bath/WC, safe, hairdryer, telephone, coffee and tea maker, satellite TV with radio channel, air conditioning (individually adjustable), mini-fridge, minibar (on request, for a fee), bathrobes, slippers, toiletries, and a balcony (D). Alternatively, these can also be booked with a sea view for an extra charge (DM).

Single room

Single rooms are double rooms for single use (DE).

Double room Superior

The Superior double rooms are completely renovated and modernly furnished. With the same facilities as the double rooms, these rooms also feature a walk-in shower, a 43" HD TV, a bathroom scale, a clock radio with USB charging, and are more spacious (DSU). Alternatively, they can also be booked for single use (DSE). They can also be booked with a sea view (DMU, available on request).

Double room Deluxe

The completely renovated and modernly furnished Deluxe double rooms are equipped with a 43" HD TV, individually adjustable air conditioning, a clock radio with USB charging, telephone, coffee/tea maker, mini-fridge, walk-in rain shower, hairdryer, slippers and bathrobe, various toiletries, and a balcony or terrace; they are located in the bungalow buildings. A minibar is available on request for a fee. Upon arrival, guests receive a bottle of wine in their room (DD2/D2I/DDA). Alternatively, these can also be booked for single occupancy (DD1). They can also be booked with a sea view for an extra charge (DDM/also available for single occupancy (DM1)).

Double room Deluxe private pool

With the same facilities as the Deluxe double rooms, these rooms feature a private pool (U2P, on request).
The private pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We ask for careful behavior and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for young children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, a minimum age of 6 years applies for children when booking these room types at Schauinsland-Reisen.

Apartments Superior

With otherwise the same facilities as the double rooms, the Superior apartments have a combined living/sleeping area with a modern kitchen and dining table, bath/WC, and a separate bedroom. These rooms are mainly located in the 4000s blocks (A2U).
Alternatively, they can also be booked in the first beach row upon request (S1R, with entitlement to breakfast in the Osteria restaurant/subject to hotel occupancy, until the end of 2026). Additionally, a bottle of wine is provided upon arrival, and a bottle of water is provided in the room every day.

Executive Apartments

The Executive apartments feature an additional bedroom and a second bathroom, with otherwise the same facilities as the Superior apartments. These rooms are located in the 4000s blocks (A2X).
Alternatively, they can be booked in the first beach row (EP1, with entitlement to breakfast in the Osteria restaurant/subject to hotel occupancy, available on request). Additionally, a bottle of wine is provided upon arrival, and a bottle of water is provided in the room every day.

The Superior family rooms consist of two renovated Superior double rooms with a connecting door (F2U).
The rooms are located in the bungalow buildings in the immediate vicinity of the Olympic pool.

Family room Deluxe

The Deluxe family rooms consist of two renovated Deluxe double rooms with a connecting door (2DF).
The rooms are mainly located around the Olympic pool.

Family Suite

With otherwise the same facilities as the Deluxe double rooms, the family suites feature a Deluxe double room and a suite with a connecting door. These rooms are located in the bungalow buildings (2FS/on request).

Suites

With otherwise the same facilities as the double rooms, the suites feature a living/sleeping area separated by sliding doors, a flatscreen TV, and a turndown service. Guests are entitled to breakfast in the Osteria restaurant/subject to hotel occupancy. A bottle of wine is provided in the room upon arrival (S2, available on request).

The completely renovated and modernly equipped Luxury suites with a partial or direct sea view feature a living room (incl. sofa bed) and a separate bedroom with a king-size bed, and are equipped with a rain shower/WC, 2 HD TVs, individually adjustable air conditioning, clock radio with USB charging, telephone, safe, Nespresso coffee machine and capsules, SMEG fridge (stocked upon arrival and included, remaining items for a fee), hairdryer, slippers, bathrobe, exclusive toiletries, pillow menu, and turndown service; they are located in the bungalow buildings (2LS/on request). Guests are entitled to breakfast in the Osteria restaurant/subject to hotel occupancy.

Luxury Suite 2 bedrooms

With the same facilities as the Luxury suite, these feature an additional bedroom (2 single beds), an additional bathroom, a terrace, and a sea view. Additionally, a private pavilion at the beach is available (2ZM/on request). Guests are entitled to breakfast in the Osteria restaurant/subject to hotel occupancy.

Executive Suite

The renovated and modernly furnished Executive suites are located in the bungalow buildings and feature a living/sleeping area, 2 separate bedrooms, and two bathrooms. The room amenities include exclusive toiletries, a hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, 3 HD TVs, a clock radio with USB charging, Nespresso coffee machine and capsules, SMEG fridge (stocked upon arrival and included, remaining items for a fee), telephone, individually adjustable air conditioning, pillow menu, safe, turndown service, and a balcony or terrace (ES2/on request). Guests are entitled to breakfast in the Osteria restaurant/subject to hotel occupancy.

Village Apartment 1 bedroom renovated (bookable from summer 2027)

With the same facilities as the Superior double rooms, these completely renovated and modernly equipped apartments feature a combined living/sleeping area with a kitchenette and dining table, fridge, Nespresso coffee machine, modern bath/WC with a walk-in rain shower, and a separate bedroom (D2A).
Alternatively, they can also be booked in the first beach row (with entitlement to breakfast in the "Osteria" restaurant/subject to hotel occupancy, available on request) and with turndown service. Additionally, a bottle of wine is provided upon arrival, and a bottle of water is provided in the room every day (FTB, available on request).

Village Apartment 2 bedrooms renovated (bookable from summer 2027)

With the same facilities as the Village Apartments 1 bedroom, these completely renovated and modernly equipped apartments feature an additional bedroom as well as a second bathroom with a walk-in rain shower (A2D).
Alternatively, they can also be booked in the first beach row (with entitlement to breakfast in the "Osteria" restaurant/subject to hotel occupancy, available on request) and with turndown service. Additionally, a bottle of wine is provided upon arrival, and a bottle of water is provided in the room every day (2QD, available on request).

Meals

Breakfast/Half board

Breakfast is served in buffet form in the main restaurant. With half board, dinner is also included in the main restaurant in a rich buffet form.
Vegetarian dishes and meals for special dietary requirements are available on request. Please contact reception for this.
Alternatively, the main meal can also be taken à la carte in one of the restaurants in the evening (7 PM - 11 PM) for an extra charge.
Appropriate attire is requested at dinner (long or knee-length trousers and closed shoes for men).
Only one type of meal plan allowed per booking!

For our little guests, there is a playground, two children's pools, a mini water park, a mini-disco, children's animation, and a kids' club for 4–12-year-olds. Toddlers aged 0–3 years can use the kindergarten under parental supervision.

The spacious spa area of 1,100 m² offers rest and relaxation. In the stylish ambiance of the Neptune Spa, various massages and cosmetic treatments invite you to enjoy well-being. High-quality products from Elemis B-Corp ensure an unforgettable pampering experience. In addition to classic cosmetics, modern high-tech treatments for the face and body are also offered. All treatments and facilities are available for a fee. Guests under 16 years of age are not permitted entry.

Destination information - Climate resilience fee

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on site, comparable to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and is staggered from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euro per day and room as of January 1, 2025.
