Location

The Cavo D'Oro is nestled amidst greenery, directly on one of the island's most beautiful beaches, which is fine-grained and gently sloping. The center of Marmari is approx. 700 m away, and the nearest mini-market is 500 m away. A bus stop for the public bus to Kos Town is 200 m away. Kos Town is about 14 km away, and Kos Airport is about 13 km away.

Facilities

The family-run establishment with 46 units and many returning guests is located in the middle of a palm-planted garden and promises a quiet and relaxing holiday. The hotel's amenities include a reception, lounge, library, cocktail bar/bistro (10 AM - 12:30 AM), à la carte restaurant/taverna serving Mediterranean and international cuisine (11:30 AM - 3:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 11:30 PM), and a cozy outdoor terrace. In the well-maintained outdoor area, there is a swimming pool with a sun terrace. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge here. There is also a beach bar (10 AM - 6 PM) and beach showers. Sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach are available for a fee. Wi-Fi is included throughout the hotel.

Superior Double Room

The comfortable Superior Rooms consist of a bathroom with a walk-in shower/WC, hairdryer, slippers, individually controlled air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, safe (rental), mosquito net, refrigerator, coffee and tea making facilities, and a balcony with a garden view (DSU).
Wine and water are provided in the room upon arrival.

Junior Suite

With the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, these feature a visually separated living area with seating and a sofa bed (JS2/JSI).

1 Bedroom Apartment

With otherwise the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, the apartments consist of a living/sleeping area with a sofa bed and a separate bedroom (A12). They also have a kitchenette. The apartments are located on the ground floor and have a terrace.

Superior 2 Bedroom Apartment

With the same amenities as the apartments, these are slightly more spacious and offer an additional separate bedroom (2AU).
Unlike the apartments, the Superior Apartments have a balcony or terrace.

2 Bedroom Suite

The suites are more spacious than the Superior Apartments with the same amenities (S22).

Junior Suite Sharing Pool

The Junior Suites, newly built for summer 2024 and bookable for ages 16 and up, are modernly furnished and, with the same amenities as the Junior Suites, offer direct access to the sharing pool. Two sun loungers are available on the terrace. The suites also have a refrigerator and an espresso machine (two capsules included upon arrival) (J2P).
The sharing pool is not supervised by a lifeguard.

Premium Suite Whirlpool

The Premium Suites, newly built for summer 2024 and bookable for ages 16 and up, offer, with otherwise the same amenities as the Junior Suites with Sharing Pool, a separate living and sleeping area. On the terrace with sea view, there is a private whirlpool and two sun loungers (RE2).
The whirlpool is not supervised by a lifeguard. Please use this area with caution.

Meals

Breakfast/Half Board

Extended continental breakfast (7:30 AM - 10 AM) buffet.
With half board booked, an additional dinner buffet (6:30 PM - 10:30 PM).
Drinks are not included with dinner.

Note on climate resilience levy

For stays from 01.01.2018, the Greek government charges a climate resilience levy, which must be paid by the guest locally, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and is tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room from 01.01.2025.
