Cavo D'Oro is nestled in greenery, directly on one of the island's most beautiful beaches, which features fine sand and a gentle slope. The center of Marmari is approximately 700 m away, and the nearest mini-market is about 500 m away. A bus stop for the local service to Kos Town is 200 m away. It is approximately 14 km to Kos Town and about 13 km to Kos Airport.

Facilities

This family-run establishment with 46 residential units and many repeat guests is situated in the middle of a garden planted with palm trees, promising a quiet and relaxing holiday. Amenities include a reception, a lounge, a library, a cocktail bar/bistro (10:00 AM – 12:30 AM), an à-la-carte restaurant/tavern serving Mediterranean and international cuisine (11:30 AM – 3:30 PM and 6:30 PM – 11:30 PM), and a cozy outdoor terrace. In the well-kept outdoor area, there is a swimming pool with a sun terrace. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available here free of charge. There is also a beach bar (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM) and beach showers. Sun loungers and umbrellas at the beach are available for a fee. Wi-Fi is included throughout the entire hotel premises.

Superior Double Room

The comfortable Superior rooms consist of a bathroom with a walk-in shower/WC, hairdryer, slippers, individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, rental safe, mosquito net, refrigerator, coffee and tea-making facilities, and a balcony with garden view (DSU).
Upon arrival, wine and water are provided in the room.

Junior Suite

With the same equipment as the Superior Double rooms, these feature a visually separated living area with seating and a sofa bed (JS2/JSI).

1-Bedroom Apartment

With otherwise the same equipment as the Superior Double rooms, the apartments consist of a living/bedroom with a sofa bed and a separate bedroom (A12). Additionally equipped with a kitchenette. The apartments are located on the ground floor and have a terrace.

Superior 2-Bedroom Apartment

With the same equipment as the apartments, these are slightly more spacious and offer an additional, separate bedroom (2AU).
Unlike the standard apartments, the Superior Apartments feature a balcony or terrace.

2-Bedroom Suite

The suites are more spacious while maintaining the same equipment as the Superior Apartments (S22).

Junior Suite Sharing Pool

The Junior Suites, newly built for Summer 2024 and bookable from 16 years of age, are modernly furnished and, with otherwise the same equipment as the Junior Suites, offer direct access to the sharing pool. Two sun loungers are available on the terrace. The suites also feature a refrigerator and an espresso machine (two capsules included upon arrival) (J2P).
The sharing pool is not monitored by a lifeguard. Guests are asked to behave with caution and to be particularly attentive when using this area.

Premium Suite Whirlpool

The Premium Suites, newly built for Summer 2024 and bookable from 16 years of age, feature a separate living room and bedroom, with otherwise the same equipment as the Junior Suites Sharing Pool. On the terrace with sea view, a private whirlpool and two sun loungers are available (RE2).
The whirlpool is not monitored by a lifeguard. Guests are asked to behave with caution and to be particularly attentive when using this area.

Breakfast/Half Board

Extended continental breakfast (7:30 AM – 10:00 AM) served as a buffet.
If half board is booked, dinner (6:30 PM – 10:30 PM) is also served as a buffet.
Drinks are not included with dinner.

Note on climate resilience tax

For stays starting from Jan 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience tax, which is to be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a local visitor tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and is tiered from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euros per day and room as of Jan 1, 2025.
