Cavo D'Oro is nestled in lush greenery, right on one of the island's most beautiful beaches, which features fine sand and a gentle slope into the sea. The center of Marmari is approx. 700 m away, and the nearest mini-market is approx. 500 m away. A stop for the local bus to Kos Town is 200 m away. It is approx. 14 km to Kos Town and approx. 13 km to Kos Airport.

Facilities

This family-run hotel with 46 units and many returning guests is situated in a palm-filled garden and promises a quiet and relaxing holiday. Amenities include a 24-hour reception, a lounge, library, cocktail bar/bistro (10:00 AM – 12:30 AM), an à-la-carte restaurant/tavern serving Mediterranean and international cuisine (11:30 AM – 3:30 PM and 6:30 PM – 11:30 PM), and a cozy outdoor terrace. The well-maintained grounds feature a swimming pool with a sun terrace. Sun loungers and parasols are provided free of charge here. There is also a beach bar (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM) and beach showers. Sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach are available for a fee. Wi-Fi is included throughout the hotel complex.

Superior Double Room

The comfortable Superior rooms are located in the main building and consist of a bathroom with a walk-in shower/WC, hairdryer, slippers, individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, rental safe, mosquito net, refrigerator, coffee and tea-making facilities, and a balcony with garden views (DSU).
Wine and water are provided in the room upon arrival.

Junior Suite

With the same amenities as the Superior Double rooms, these feature a visually separated living area with seating and a sofa bed (JS2/JSI).

Apartment 1 Bedroom

With otherwise identical amenities to the Superior Double rooms, the apartments consist of a living/sleeping room with a sofa bed and a separate bedroom (A12). Additionally equipped with a kitchenette. The apartments are located on the ground floor and have a terrace.

Superior Apartment 2 Bedrooms

With the same amenities as the apartments, these are slightly more spacious and offer an additional separate bedroom (2AU).
Unlike the apartments, the Superior Apartments have a balcony or terrace.

Suite 2 Bedrooms

The suites are more spacious while offering the same amenities as the Superior Apartments (S22).

Junior Suite Sharing Pool

Built new in summer 2024 and bookable for guests aged 16 and over, these modernly furnished junior suites offer direct access to a sharing pool, with otherwise identical amenities to the Junior Suites. Two sun loungers are available on the terrace. The suites also feature a refrigerator and an espresso machine (two capsules included upon arrival) (J2P).
The sharing pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We ask for careful behavior and special attention when using this area.

Premium Suite Whirlpool

Built new in summer 2024 and bookable for guests aged 16 and over, these premium suites feature a separate living and sleeping area, with otherwise identical amenities to the Junior Suite Sharing Pool. A private whirlpool and two sun loungers are available on the terrace, which offers sea views (RE2).
The whirlpool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We ask for careful behavior and special attention when using this area.

Extended continental breakfast (7:30 AM – 10:00 AM) in buffet style.
If half board is booked, dinner (6:30 PM – 10:30 PM) is also included as a buffet.
Drinks are not included with dinner.

Destination information: Climate resilience fee

For stays starting from January 1, 2018, the Greek government imposes a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax.
