Location

The small Kalimera Mare hotel is located on the south coast of the popular Greek holiday island of Kos. The nearest sandy beach, which is approx. 100 m away, can be reached in just a few minutes' walk. The town center of Kardamena with its taverns and shops is approx. 4 kilometers away. A bus stop is located directly in front of the hotel. Kos airport is about 10 km away.

The lovingly managed complex was renovated in 2024, has 43 rooms, and offers a lobby with a reception. The "Dionysos" restaurant and the "Socrates" bar provide for guests' culinary needs. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the entire hotel complex.
The attractively designed garden area features a swimming pool with an integrated children's pool and a sun terrace. Sunbeds and umbrellas are included at the pool, and available for a fee at the beach. Bath towels can be rented for a fee. Parking spaces are available at the hotel free of charge, subject to availability.

The renovated Deluxe double rooms are comfortably and elegantly furnished and, in addition to the same facilities as the double rooms, offer a garden view (DD2).

Family room

With the same facilities as the double rooms, these also include 2 air conditioning units, a combined living/sleeping room with 2 sofa beds, and a separate bedroom (DF2).

Meals

Breakfast/Half board

Breakfast is served as a rich buffet (8:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.).
For guests booked with half board, dinner is also included. Dinner (7:45 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.) includes a buffet with starters and desserts as well as a set menu for the main course.
Drinks are not included with dinner.

Destination information climate resilience fee

For stays from 01/01/2018 onwards, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and has been tiered from €0.50 to €15 per day and room as of 01/01/2025.
