Location

The small hotel Kalimera Mare is located on the south coast of the popular Greek holiday island of Kos. The nearest sandy beach, which is approx. 100 m away, can be reached in just a few minutes' walk. The town center of Kardamena with taverns and shops is approximately 4 kilometers away. A bus stop is located directly in front of the hotel. Kos airport is about 10 km away.

The lovingly managed complex was renovated in 2024, features 43 rooms, and offers a lobby with a reception. The "Dionysos" restaurant and the "Socrates" bar take care of your culinary well-being. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the entire hotel grounds.
In the attractively designed garden area, there is a swimming pool with an integrated children's pool and a sun terrace. Sun loungers and parasols are included at the pool, and are available for a fee at the beach. Bath towels can be rented for a fee. Parking spaces are available at the hotel free of charge, subject to availability.

These feature 2 air conditioning units, a combined living/sleeping area with 2 sofa beds, and a separate bedroom, with otherwise the same facilities as the double rooms (DF2).

Breakfast is served as a rich buffet (8:00 AM – 10:30 AM).
For guests with booked half-board, dinner is also included. Dinner (7:45 PM – 9:30 PM) includes a buffet with appetizers and desserts, as well as a set menu for the main course.

Note regarding Climate Resilience Fee

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, payable by the guest on-site, comparable to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and is scaled from 0.50 euros to 15 euros per day and room as of January 1, 2025.
