Location

The Hotel Alkionis is located approximately 300 m from the sand/pebble beach. The tourist center with its local establishments and shops is just a few minutes' walk away, while the capital city, Corfu Town, with its historical sights, is about 19 km away. The nearest supermarket is about 100 m away, with further bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The following attractions are also accessible from the hotel: Archaeological Museum (approx. 19 km) and Achilleon Palace (approx. 10 km). For mobility during your holiday, there is a taxi stand (approx. 500 m) and a bus stop (approx. 10 m away). The hotel is connected to Corfu Airport (CFU, approx. 20 km away).

Facilities

The hotel, last partially renovated in 2022, is family-friendly and situated in the second row of beaches. It comprises a total of 62 comfortable rooms spread across two buildings. Further hotel amenities include a 24-hour reception, a lobby with a bar, a TV lounge, and a restaurant. The outdoor area of the hotel, designed in a Mediterranean style, features a freshwater pool. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pool, while at the beach they are available for a fee. The hotel also offers parking facilities.

Double Room

The double rooms are equipped with a bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone, air conditioning, rental safe, satellite TV, and a balcony (approx. 18-20m², D).

These rooms have the same amenities as double rooms but are for single occupancy and are therefore slightly smaller (DE).

Family Room

With the same amenities as double rooms, these rooms also have a bunk bed (DF2).

Information on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government is levying a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest locally, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, from 01.01.2025, will be tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room.
For stays during the high season from April 1st to October 31st:
National category 1-2 stars: 2 Euros
National category 3 stars: 5 Euros
National category 4 stars: 10 Euros
National category 5 stars: 15 Euros
For stays during the low season from November 1st to March 31st:
National category 1-2 stars: 0.50 Euros
National category 3 stars: 1.50 Euros
National category 4 stars: 3 Euros
National category 5 stars: 4 Euros
