Destination information regarding climate resilience fee

For stays starting from Jan 1st, 2018, the Greek government charges a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on site, comparable to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and, as of Jan 1st, 2025, is staggered from 0.50 Euro to 15 € per day and room.
For stays during high season (April 1st - Oct 31st):
Land category 1-2 stars: 2 Euro
Land category 3 stars: 5 Euro
Land category 4 stars: 10 Euro
