Location

Located in the small village of Astrakeri, surrounded by meadows and olive trees, the Angela Beach Hotel complex is situated directly on a small, natural sand/pebble beach. Another beach section is about 150 m away, and further beaches are within walking distance. The nearest town, Roda, is approximately 1.5 km away and can be reached easily several times a day via the hotel's own complimentary shuttle bus. You can reach the well-known town of Acharavi after about 4 km, and the airport is approx. 43 km away.

The Hotel Angela Beach is a Schauinsland-Reisen original and features 580 rooms and apartments, including 190 Superior, which are spread across the main building and several multi-story annexes. Hotel amenities include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception, rental safes, a lift in the main building, seating areas, a souvenir shop/mini-market, and an air-conditioned cinema. Furthermore, the hotel features 2 buffet restaurants, one near the main building and the second in the Superior apartment area, as well as a rooftop bar perfect for sundowners. In the outdoor area, there are three freshwater swimming pools with sun terraces and pool bars, a separate children's pool, and a brand-new small water park with 2 slides. Little guests can also let off steam at the new, large playground. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and seating are available for parents.
For those seeking peace and quiet, a small garden lounge area has been available since summer 2024, featuring outdoor sofas, Bali beds, hanging chairs, and 2 outdoor hot tubs.
The garden area by the beach has also been redesigned since summer 2024: there is now a wooden deck with sun loungers, umbrellas, and panoramic sea views, a relaxation area with hammocks, and a new beach bar with cozy seating areas to linger in. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included at the swimming pools and at the beach directly in front of the hotel. Guests receive beach towels for a deposit; a small fee is charged for changing them. Wi-Fi is provided free of charge to all hotel guests throughout the premises.

All Apartments Superior are located on the upper floors of 4 different annex buildings and are modernly and attractively furnished. All hotel guests are offered breakfast from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., lunch from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m., and dinner from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in buffet form. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. as well as from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m., gyros, fries, and tzatziki are provided at the snack bar and one of the pool bars. Ice cream is available from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and coffee, tea, and pastries are served from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Non-alcoholic drinks such as coffee, tea, cocoa, various soft drinks, juices, soda water, and national alcoholic beverages such as beer, local red and white wine, brandy, and ouzo are available from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. at the pool bars as well as at the beach bar. Other national drinks such as vodka, rum, and kumquat are served from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m.
The rooftop bar is open for soft drinks and beer from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., as well as from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. for all other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages included in the All Inclusive program.

Note on climate resilience levy

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on-site, comparable to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and is staggered from January 1, 2025, from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euro per day and room.
