Location

The family-run hotel Athina is located in Agios Stefanos, between the villages of Avliotes and Arillas. The sand/pebble beach is only approx. 50 m away. Shops and entertainment facilities are in the immediate vicinity. The airport is approx. 40 km away.

Facilities

The family-friendly resort is a schauinsland-reisen original and has 73 rooms, a lobby with reception, restaurant and a bar. Wi-Fi is included throughout the resort.
The well-maintained outdoor area features a large swimming pool with a separate children's pool and sun terrace. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pool, and are available for a fee on the beach.

Double room

The rooms have two single beds, shower/WC, hairdryer, slippers, iron, telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning (centrally controlled), mini-fridge, coffee/tea station, and a balcony or terrace (D/DA).
Also available as double room with direct sea view (DM) or for single use (DE/DEA/AME).

Super Saver Room

Otherwise same amenities as the double room, but without a balcony (SSZ).

Deluxe Double Room Sea View

The Deluxe Double Rooms with sea view, newly built for Summer 2025, are modernly equipped with a bathroom with walk-in shower/WC, hairdryer, toiletries, slippers, air conditioning, flat-screen TV, telephone, safe, mini-fridge, coffee/tea station (filled on arrival), Nespresso machine (filled on arrival), a bottle of water on arrival and a furnished balcony with sea view (DDM/MDI).
Also available for single use (DM1).

Junior Suite Sea View

The Junior Suites, newly built for Summer 2025, are modernly furnished and feature a bathroom with walk-in shower/WC, hairdryer, toiletries, slippers, a combined living/sleeping area, air conditioning, flat-screen TV, telephone, safe, mini-fridge, coffee/tea station (filled on arrival), Nespresso machine (filled on arrival), a bottle of water on arrival, and a furnished balcony with sea view (J2M).

Junior Suite Sea View Sharing Pool

The Junior Suites, newly built in Summer 2023 and modernly furnished, feature a combined living/sleeping area, a bathroom with walk-in shower/WC, hairdryer, toiletries, slippers, air conditioning, flat-screen TV, telephone, safe, mini-fridge, coffee/tea station (filled on arrival), Nespresso machine (filled on arrival), a bottle of water on arrival, and a furnished terrace with direct access to the sharing pool (J2H/W2).
The sharing pool is not supervised. Please be especially mindful of your children and act with caution when using this area.

Suite Private Pool Sea View

The suites with private pool consist of two bedrooms separated by a sliding door, two bathrooms, and a combined living/sleeping area. With the same amenities as the Junior Suites Sea View, the suites offer an outdoor terrace with a private pool (IP2).
The suites can be booked with breakfast or half board.
The private pool is not supervised. Please be especially mindful of your children and act with caution when using this area.

Half board

Breakfast from 8:00 AM - 10:30 AM and dinner from 7:00 PM - 9:30 PM, served buffet-style.
Depending on occupancy, breakfast and dinner may be served as a set menu at the beginning and end of the season.

Note on climate resilience levy

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which is to be paid by the guest locally, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, from 01.01.2025, ranges from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euro per day and room.
For stays during the high season from April 1st to October 31st:
National category 1-2 stars: 2 Euros
National category 3 stars: 5 Euros
National category 4 stars: 10 Euros
National category 5 stars: 15 Euros
For stays during the low season from November 1st to March 31st:
National category 1-2 stars: 0.50 Euros
