Location

The Geranion Village is situated on a hill near the village of Nikiti and offers a fantastic view over the sea and the hills of the Sithonia peninsula. It is approximately 1 km to the center of Nikiti with its shopping and entertainment venues as well as bars and restaurants. The gently sloping sand/pebble beach is approximately 1.5 km away. The hotel’s private beach section can be reached several times a day via the hotel's own shuttle service (departure times posted on the notice board). Thessaloniki Airport is approximately 90 km away.

The Geranion Village is managed with great warmth and a personal touch by the owners, Alexandros and Konstantinos, and is a schauinsland-reisen original. The 82 rooms are distributed across six two-story buildings. The hotel's main building houses the lobby and the 24-hour reception with a hotel safe (for a fee), as well as the breakfast room which offers a stunning view over the Gulf of Toroneos. Together with the main building, the garden restaurant designed like a small Greek village square, and the chapel dedicated to Saints Constantine and Helena, they form a small village. The heart of the complex is the pool area, which features a freshwater pool, a separate children's pool, the pool bar located in the castle tower, and a spacious sun terrace lined with palm trees. This is also where the tavern (for a fee) is located, offering typical Greek specialties as well as wood-fired pizza à la carte. Guests can reach the hotel’s private beach section, equipped with showers and toilets, via the shuttle service (departure times posted on the notice board). A small beach bar is within walking distance. Sun loungers and parasols are included at the pool and available for a fee at the beach. Wi-Fi is included throughout the hotel complex.

Double room

The cozy double rooms are traditionally furnished and feature a bathroom with a walk-in shower/WC, hairdryer, individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, safe and Wi-Fi, mini-fridge, electric kettle, and coffee/tea-making facilities (daily replenishment, for a fee), as well as a balcony. New bedspreads, pillows, and curtains add fresh accents (D/DI). Also available for single occupancy (DE) or as double rooms Type A, Type B, and Type C (DA, DB, DC).
Also available as rooms with a panoramic view of the village with partial sea view (PAD/PAI).

Double room VIP Sea View

With the same features as the double rooms, the VIP double rooms offer additional amenities such as a flat-screen TV with internet access (42 inches), espresso machine with daily replenishment of 4 capsules, a minibar refilled daily with 1 bottle of water, 2 beers, and 2 soft drinks, bath amenities, as well as an iron and ironing board. The cozy bench on the balcony offers a wonderful view of the sea. For a minimum stay of 5 nights, guests can choose either a lunch or dinner in the tavern with a set menu, including 1 bottle of water and a bottle of wine, or 1 soft drink, or 1 beer (VI2).

Family room

With the same features as the double rooms, the family rooms have a separate additional living/sleeping area (connecting door) (DF2).

Junior suite

With the same features as the double rooms, these suites additionally offer an espresso machine, bathrobes, slippers, are more spacious, and additionally provide a separate living room with satellite TV (JS2).

Meals

Half board

The hotel is known for its home-made products.
For breakfast (7:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.), a buffet is available including, among other things, Greek specialties and honey from the hotel’s own beehives.
In the evening (7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.), a large buffet invites you to enjoy many products from the hotel's own vegetable garden as well as typical traditional Greek dishes.

Climate resilience fee note

For stays starting from January 1, 2018, the Greek government charges a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a local tourist tax.
