Location

The Geranion Village is situated on a hill near the town of Nikiti and offers a fantastic view over the sea and the hills of the Sithonia peninsula. It is approximately 1 km to the centre of Nikiti with its shopping and entertainment venues, as well as bars and restaurants. The gently sloping sandy/pebble beach is about 1.5 km away. The hotel's own beach section can be reached several times a day via the hotel shuttle service (departure times posted on site). Thessaloniki Airport is approximately 90 km away.

The Geranion Village is run with great warmth and a family atmosphere by owners Alexandros and Konstantinos and is a Schauinsland-Reisen original. The 82 rooms are distributed across six two-storey buildings. The hotel's main building houses the lobby and the 24-hour reception with a hotel safe (for a fee), as well as the breakfast room with a fantastic view over the Gulf of Toroneos. Together with the main building, the garden restaurant designed as a small Greek village square, and the chapel dedicated to Saints Constantine and Helena, they form a small village. The heart of the complex is the pool area with a freshwater pool, a separate children's pool, the pool bar inside the castle tower, and a spacious sun terrace shaded by palm trees. This is also where the tavern (for a fee) is located, which offers typical Greek specialities and wood-fired pizza à la carte. Our guests can reach the hotel's private beach area with showers and toilets using the shuttle service (departure times posted on site). A small beach bar is within walking distance. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included at the pool and available for a fee at the beach. Wi-Fi is included throughout the hotel complex.

Accommodation

Double room

The cosy double rooms are traditionally furnished and feature a bathroom with a walk-in shower/WC, hairdryer, individually controlled air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, safe and Wi-Fi, mini-fridge, kettle, and coffee/tea-making facilities (replenished daily, for a fee), as well as a balcony. New bedspreads, pillows, and curtains add fresh accents (D/DI). Optionally bookable for single use (DE) or as double room type A, type B, and type C (DA, DB, DC).
Also available as a room with a panoramic view of the village with side sea view (PAD/PAI).

Double room VIP Sea View

With the same amenities as the double rooms, the VIP double rooms feature additional perks such as a flatscreen TV with internet access (42 inch), espresso machine with daily replenishment of 4 capsules, a minibar replenished daily with 1 bottle of water, 2 beers and 2 soft drinks, bathroom amenities, as well as an iron and ironing board. A magnificent view of the sea opens up from the cosy bench on the balcony. For a minimum stay of 5 nights, choose between lunch or dinner in the tavern with a set menu, 1 bottle of water and a bottle of wine, or 1 soft drink or 1 beer (VI2).

Family room

With the same amenities as the double rooms, the family rooms feature an additional separate living/sleeping area (with interconnecting door) (DF2).

Junior suite

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these suites are more spacious and additionally feature an espresso machine, bathrobes, slippers, and a separate living room with satellite TV (JS2).

Meals

Half board

The hotel is known for its own locally produced goods.
For breakfast (7:30 am – 10:00 am), a buffet is available, including Greek specialities and honey from the hotel's own beehives.
In the evening (7:00 pm – 9:00 pm), a large buffet with many products from the hotel's own vegetable garden, as well as typical traditional Greek dishes, invites you to enjoy.

Note on climate resilience levy

For stays starting from 1.1.2018, the Greek government charges a climate resilience levy, which is to be paid by the guest on site, comparable to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and is staggered from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euro per day and room as of 1.1.2025.
