Location

The "Mount Athos Resort" is located in a quiet environment at the end of the picturesque town of Ierissos, amidst green nature on the third finger of the Greek peninsula of Chalkidiki. A small harbor with fishing boats is located near the hotel. The dreamlike sandy beach can be reached directly via the hotel grounds. The town center of Ierissos with various shopping and entertainment facilities is about a 15-minute walk away. The following sights are accessible from the hotel: Mt. Athos (approx. 10 km) and Stagira (approx. 20 km). Car rental and a bus stop (approx. 100 m away) provide mobility during your holiday. The airport (SKG) is approx. 131 km away.

The high-class hotel has 74 rooms spread over 3 floors, distributed across the main building and 4 annex buildings. Facilities include a reception hall with a reception (check-in from 3 PM, check-out until 11 AM), an elevator in the main building, and a lounge & relax bar with a beautiful outdoor terrace. Wi-Fi is included throughout the hotel. For culinary variety, there is the main restaurant with an outdoor terrace and the à la carte restaurant "Leuko Kochili Tavern" (for a fee). In the outdoor area, there is a heated infinity pool with a dreamlike view of the sea, a sun terrace, and a pool/snackbar. Sunbeds and umbrellas are included by the pool and on the beach.

Double room

The modernly furnished rooms are equipped with a double bed, carpet, kettle (free of charge), minibar (for a fee), balcony, internet (free of charge), safe (free of charge) and satellite TV with local channels, as well as central air conditioning and heating. The bathroom has a shower/toilet (approx. 22 sqm, D). Can be booked with harbor view (2DH) or lateral sea view (DMS) as an option.

Superior Double Room Sea View

The Superior Double Rooms have the same amenities as the Double Rooms but are more spacious and feature a balcony with a sea view and a bathtub in the bathroom (approx. 30 sqm, DMU).

Junior Suite Lateral Sea View

The Junior Suite, furnished in a classic and elegant style, offers a lateral view of the calm sea and provides a sofa bed as an additional sleeping option to the double bed. Overall, the Junior Suite offers even more space (approx. 37 sqm, J2S).

Suite

The bright and high-quality designed Suite combines luxury with comfort and offers a double bed and additional seating. The spacious and elegant bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, and you can enjoy the wonderful sunshine on the balcony or terrace (approx. 57 sqm, S2). It can also be booked with a breathtaking frontal sea view (S2M) as an option.

Note on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government is levying a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, from January 1, 2025, will be tiered from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euro per day and room.
