Location

The "Mount Athos Resort" is situated in a quiet area at the edge of the picturesque town of Ierissos, amidst green nature on the third peninsula of the Greek region of Chalkidiki. A small harbor with fishing boats is located near the hotel. The stunning sandy beach is directly accessible via the hotel grounds. The town center of Ierissos, with its various shops and entertainment options, is approximately a 15-minute walk away. The following attractions are reachable from the hotel: Mt. Athos (approx. 10 km) and Stagira (approx. 20 km). For mobility during your holiday, a car rental service is available, as well as a bus stop (approx. 100 m away). The airport (SKG) is approximately 131 km away.

The upscale hotel features 74 rooms spread across 3 floors, divided between the main building and 4 annex buildings. Amenities include a reception hall with a front desk (check-in from 3 PM, check-out by 11 AM), an elevator in the main building, and a lounge & relax bar with a beautiful outdoor terrace. Wi-Fi is included throughout the entire hotel complex. For culinary variety, there is a main restaurant with an outdoor terrace, as well as the à la carte restaurant "Leuko Kochili Tavern" (for a fee). The outdoor area boasts a heated infinity pool with a stunning sea view, a sun terrace, and a pool/snackbar. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pool and on the beach.

The modernly furnished rooms are equipped with a double bed, carpeted floors, kettle (free of charge), minibar (for a fee), balcony, internet (free of charge), safe (free of charge), and satellite TV with local channels, as well as centrally controlled air conditioning and heating. The bathroom features a shower/WC (approx. 22 sqm, D). Available with harbor view (2DH) or side sea view (DMS) at your choice.

Double room Superior sea view

The Superior double rooms, with the same amenities as the standard double rooms, are more spacious and feature a balcony with a sea view and a bathtub in the bathroom (approx. 30 sqm, DMU).

Junior Suite side sea view

The Junior Suite, decorated in a classic and elegant style, offers a side view of the calm sea and includes a sofa bed as an additional sleeping option to the double bed. Overall, the Junior Suite offers even more space (approx. 37 sqm, J2S).

Suite

The bright and high-quality designed Suite combines luxury with comfort, offering a double bed and additional seating areas. The spacious and elegant bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, and you can enjoy the glorious sunshine on the balcony or terrace (approx. 57 sqm, S2). Also available with a breathtaking frontal sea view (S2M) at your choice.

Note on Climate Resilience Contribution

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government levies a climate resilience contribution, which is payable by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, from 01.01.2025, ranges from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room.
For stays during high season from April 1st to October 31st:
National category 1-2 stars: 2 Euros
National category 3 stars: 5 Euros
National category 4 stars: 10 Euros
National category 5 stars: 15 Euros
For stays during low season from November 1st to March 31st:
National category 1-2 stars: 0.50 Euros
