Location

The Blue Bay Hotel is located in a quiet elevated position on the cliffs, about 50 m above the sea, with a gently sloping sandy/pebble beach (accessible via stairs). Due to its unique location, the hotel offers a fantastic view of the sea and the surrounding area. The center of the popular village of Afitos, with numerous shops and entertainment options, is about a 10-minute walk away. Kalithea, another popular resort, can be reached via a side road in about 1.2 km.

This Adults Only hotel with 69 rooms consists of a main building and 4 two-story annex buildings and features a reception, restaurant with non-smoking area, conference room, souvenir shop, bar, wellness area, and Wi-Fi throughout the hotel complex, included. Within the well-maintained garden area, there are two freshwater pools, one of which is in a quieter part of the complex. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pool, and at the beach for a fee. Pool towels are included. Beach towels are available for a fee.

Double room with partial sea view

The double rooms have a bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, safe, Wi-Fi, refrigerator, kettle for coffee and tea preparation, air conditioning, balcony, and partial sea view (DMS/DIS).

Single room with partial sea view

Single rooms have the same amenities as double rooms and offer partial sea view (EMS).

Super Saver Room

With the same amenities, the saver rooms are located on the ground floor (access via terrace) and face the land side. The safe is available at reception. The rooms do not have a balcony (SSZ).

Double room Superior with partial sea view

With the same amenities as the double rooms, the Superior double rooms are slightly more spacious and have a large balcony with partial sea view (D2S).

Double room Deluxe with partial sea view

With the same amenities and size as the Superior double rooms, these feature higher-quality furnishings, a coffee/tea corner, bathrobes, slippers, and can be booked with partial sea view (DDS) or sea view (DDM).
Upon arrival, our customers will receive a bottle of water and a bottle of wine in their room.

Junior Suite Sea View

With otherwise identical amenities to the double rooms, the renovated Junior Suites feature an integrated living area with a fold-out sofa as an additional sleeping option, a walk-in shower, a coffee/tea corner, bathrobe, slippers, a second balcony with two sun loungers, and sea view (J2M).
Upon arrival, our guests will receive a bottle of water and a bottle of wine in their room.
These rooms are expected to be freshly renovated by Summer 2025 and will then feature a new bathroom with a walk-in shower.

A rich buffet is offered for breakfast.
The pool bar is open from 10 AM to midnight, snacks are available until 6 PM (for a fee). The à la carte restaurant is open from 1 PM to 10 PM (for a fee).

Note for Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from 01.01.2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience tax, which must be paid by the guest on site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and is staggered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room from 01.01.2025.
