Spend a unique holiday in Masserberg. The Werrapark Resort Frankenblick (altitude approx. 720 m) is located in the Schnett district, about 5 km from the center. You will find the nearest shops approximately 500 m away. The nearest attraction (Eisfeld Museum) is about 15 km away. Another noteworthy attraction (Glasstadt Lauscha) is approximately 25 km away. At about 16 km, the picturesque mountain lake Ratscher awaits all water lovers. You can also cool off on hot summer days at the public outdoor pool Terrassenbad Schönbrunn, located about 5 km away.
In summer, the hotel is the ideal starting point for hikes.
The Rennsteig/Thüringer Wald hiking area is located directly behind the hotel. The Oberweißbach funicular railway is approximately 22 km away.
