Location

The resort on the Schleswig-Holstein Baltic Sea coast is located in the Hohwacht Bay. The holiday park is separated from the 3 km long sandy beach only by dunes. Depending on the location of the accommodation unit, the beach is about 150 to 400 meters away. Hansa-Park is approximately 30 km away.

Facilities

The Weissenhäuser Strand holiday and leisure park offers accommodation as well as a vast range of leisure activities for any weather and season. The 95-hectare holiday resort features a beach hotel with 182 rooms and several holiday apartments and houses with over 1,000 accommodation units spread throughout the resort. The resort's amenities include the "Abenteuer Dschungelland" (Adventure Jungle Land) indoor leisure hall covering 6,000 m², the sports and games park with tennis court, archery range and more, the "Waterpark" wakeboarding and water skiing facility, as well as the "Dünengalerie" with restaurants and bar, the "Heimspiel" with bowling and skittles, and the entrance to the over 10,000 m² "Subtropical Bathing Paradise" with a new wave pool. Adjacent is the village square with a supermarket and shops.
The beach hotel also houses the "Sonnenrose" restaurant with a terrace, a conference center, and a directly connected "Dünenbad" (Dune Bath) with beauty, wellness, and sports areas.

Half Board

When booking half board: additionally, a 3-course menu of your choice or a rich buffet (at the chef's discretion) in the "Sonnenrose" hotel restaurant.
Meals begin with dinner on the day of arrival and end with breakfast on the day of departure.
Note: On 24.12./31.12., the Christmas/New Year's Eve event is included in the half-board service for an additional charge in the travel price.

10,000 m² "Subtropical Bathing Paradise" with a wave pool featuring a cinema screen, a 214 m tube slide, a 70 m turbo slide, a 3-lane wave slide, a 156 m effect slide, a steep slide, the "Water World" water play area, a wild water channel, whirlpools, a sunken city with aquarium landscape, and a toddler area.
Note: On selected dates, a daily 3-hour admission to the Subtropical Bathing Paradise (without sauna use) is included. Longer stays are subject to a fee.

6,000 m² covered "Abenteuer Dschungelland" (Adventure Jungle Land) with a high ropes course, ball pit (Europe's largest ball pit with 300,000 balls), climbing wall, children's play area, terrarium landscape, monkey enclosure, iguana lagoon, temple city, gold panning, "Maze Mission" laser parcours, slides, trampolines, and a jungle restaurant.
Closure for maintenance and cleaning work is expected from 4.12.-13.12.2023, 8.1.2024, and 15.1.-21.1.2024. Subject to change.
