Location

Located between Kiel and Flensburg, the spacious holiday resort covers an area of approximately 64 hectares and features traffic-calmed grounds. Kiel is about 50 km away, and Flensburg is about 60 km away. The nearest train station is in Eckernförde, approximately 20 km away.

Facilities

The extensive and well-maintained resort comprises the hotel, situated directly on the marina with over 400 rooms, and 207 holiday homes. Directly connected to the hotel are two restaurants (à la carte and buffet restaurant), a beach and gin/cocktail bar, an American Diner (seasonal), a harbor pub and a smoking lounge, a supermarket with a bakery, a boutique, a souvenir shop, a laundry room, and the marina. A free large car park is located at the entrance to the town with a shuttle bus service (every 20 minutes directly to the hotel). A paid car park is located directly at the hotel. Wi-Fi is included.

Premium Holiday Home 4 Persons

The "Premiumhaus" holiday homes (HPR, approx. 80 m²) are spread over 2 floors and can accommodate up to 4 people. The ground floor features a living/dining area with an open-plan kitchen equipped with an oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, microwave, and fridge/freezer. There is also a dining area with a large, comfortable sofa, a TV, and a fireplace, as well as a guest toilet and a cozy terrace with seating and a dining table facing south. The upper floor has two separate bedrooms (1 with a double bed and south-facing balcony, and 1 with two single beds), and a bathroom with a walk-in shower and an open view to the sky. All holiday homes are non-smoking. Free Wi-Fi access is available.

A-frame Holiday Home 6 Persons

The detached "Nurdachhaus" holiday homes (NDH, approx. 65 m²) are spread over 2 floors and can accommodate up to 6 people. The ground floor features a combined living/sleeping area with a sofa bed for 2 people, a flat-screen TV, a kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and coffee machine, a bathroom with a shower/toilet, and a furnished terrace. Log Cabin 5 Persons

The cozy, furnished "Blockhaus" log cabins (BH5, approx. 46 m²) are detached, single-story holiday homes and can accommodate up to 5 people. The holiday homes feature a combined living/sleeping area with a sofa bed for 1 person, a flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen, a separate dining area, a bathroom with shower/toilet, two separate bedrooms (1 with a double bed, 1 with bunk beds), and a furnished terrace. Free Wi-Fi access is available. All holiday homes are non-smoking!

Comfort Double Room

The Comfort Double Rooms (DKO, approx. 25 m²) are equipped with a king-size bed and feature a 32-inch flat-screen TV and safe, a bathroom with shower/toilet and hairdryer, and a furnished balcony. The rooms face the land side.
The double rooms are also available for single occupancy (EKO), as economy rooms for double (DCS) or single occupancy (CS1), and with sea view.

Superior Double Room

The Superior Double Rooms (DSU, approx. 31 m²) have the same amenities as the Comfort Double Rooms but include a 40-inch flat-screen TV, a refrigerator (unstocked), a coffee machine, and a panoramic bench seat, as well as a shower room with a separate toilet.
The rooms are also available for single occupancy (ESU) or as Superior economy rooms for double (2US) or single occupancy (1US), and with sea view.

Family Suite

The Family Suites (SF2, approx. 50 m²) consist of a living room with a large corner sofa, 40-inch flat-screen TV, refrigerator (unstocked), coffee machine, and safe, two separate bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and one with Viking-style bunk beds, a bathroom with a child-sized sink and hairdryer, and a separate toilet, as well as a furnished balcony. The suites face the land side.

There's everything at Dampland, except boredom! Adventures for the children and relaxation for the parents – no matter the weather or the season. Because if the beach isn't inviting, the indoor Funhalla fun park, the Kubbsala bowling and sports bar, the Entdeckerbad (discovery pool), or the KidsClub await (partially for a fee; subject to availability).
Parents can enjoy a fantastic sauna landscape with sea views and a fitness equipment park in Mare Mara. And the beach invites the whole family for long walks. In every season!

Wellness

Entdeckerbad (Discovery Pool) / daily limited to 3 hours; entry subject to capacity) with indoor and outdoor pools, a nearly 100 m long adventure slide with light projection and LED effects, a 66 m long speed slide with LED light effects and slide time measurement, a wide slide, children's pool, laser-projected aurora borealis, and a sweat lodge Viking village Värmland (sauna village) with light, infusion, and herbal saunas. In the mornings, Värmland can be used daily as a textile family sauna.
Due to maintenance work, the Entdeckerbad will be closed from January 13th to January 26th, 2025. During this period, guests can use the Panoramabad in Mare Mara.
