Location

The IFA Fehmarn Hotel & Ferien-Centrum is located directly on the south beach of the Baltic Sea island of Fehmarn, with a fine sandy beach and the Baltic Sea right on its doorstep. The accommodations are in the immediate vicinity of the beach and offer a maritime atmosphere as well as—depending on the accommodation—a wonderful view of the Baltic Sea.
The sunny island of Fehmarn is particularly popular with families, nature lovers, and water sports enthusiasts. Windsurfing, kitesurfing, cycling, and bird watching are among the popular activities on the island. The varied coastal landscape with sandy beaches, dunes, and steep cliffs also invites you to take walks and go exploring.
The island is connected to the mainland via the Fehmarnsund Bridge; there are also ferry connections to Denmark.

Facilities

The IFA Fehmarn Hotel & Ferien-Centrum offers various accommodations directly on the south beach of the Baltic Sea island of Fehmarn. The rooms and apartments are located in the "Fernblick" buildings as well as at the marina.
The distinctive "Fernblick" buildings are situated directly on the south beach and offer light-flooded rooms and apartments with a balcony and—with few exceptions—a wonderful view of the Baltic Sea.
The apartments at the marina are located in separate buildings a few meters away from the main building and reception. They are situated between the south beach and the marina, just a few meters from the beach and the promenade. The breakfast buffet as well as other amenities are offered in the main "Fernblick" building.
Culinary variety is provided by the "Windrose" restaurant, the beach pizzeria, the Marché, the Fischerkate, and the IFA Beachbar.

The cozy "Fernblick" 1-room apartments (APM, approx. 31-40 m²) offer space for up to 2 adults + 2 children and consist of a combined living/bedroom with a double bed or two single beds, a flat-screen satellite TV, a double pull-out sofa with the option of adding beds for up to 2 children, a fully equipped pantry kitchen with a coffee machine, kettle, and toaster, cookware, dishes, and cutlery, a seating/dining area, and a bathroom with a bathtub or shower/WC as well as a balcony with a sea view.
The initial supply of bed linen and towels as well as energy costs and final cleaning are already included in the travel price. Free Wi-Fi is available.

2-room apartment Fernblick building sea view

The spacious "Fernblick" 2-room apartments (A2M, approx. 41-48 m²) offer space for up to 2 adults + 2 children and consist of a combined living/bedroom with a double pull-out sofa with the option of adding beds for up to 2 children, flat-screen satellite TV, a fully equipped pantry kitchen with a coffee machine, kettle, and toaster, cookware, dishes, and cutlery, a seating/dining area, a separate bedroom with a double bed or two single beds, a bathroom with a bathtub or shower/WC as well as a balcony with a sea view.

The "Windrose" restaurant offers a breakfast buffet in a maritime ambiance as well as traditional and modern German cuisine. The outdoor terrace offers a view of the Baltic Sea.

Beach pizzeria

The beach pizzeria serves pizza, pasta, salads, and traditional Italian dishes. Wines and refreshing drinks are available in the lounge area.

Marché

Marché offers classics such as currywurst and burgers as well as ice cream. Snacks can be enjoyed outdoors under the sun sails or under the glass of the "Vitarium".

Fischerkate

The Fischerkate is a beer and cocktail bar with a glass-enclosed outdoor terrace. Cocktails and drinks are offered here in a relaxed atmosphere.

IFA Beachbar

The IFA Beachbar offers cocktails, sea views, and a Baltic Sea flair. Cozy lounge furniture invites you to linger. Opening is subject to weather conditions.

The Fehmarn Golf Park (external provider) offers an 18-hole course (par 72) with a fantastic view of the Baltic Sea and the Burger Binnensee. A short-hole course is available for beginners.

Wellness

The FehMare wellness center is located right next to the IFA Hotel. It offers a sauna area with a panoramic sea view as well as various bookable massages.
The FehMare bathing world includes, among other things, a seawater wave pool with a view of the Baltic Sea.
During a stay at the IFA Fehmarn, 2 hours of free admission to the bathing world are included daily. The arrival and departure days count as one day.
Admission to the sauna area as well as further wellness offers can be booked on-site for a fee.

The "FehMare" water world is closed every year in January/February for renovation work. The seawater pool will remain closed from the upcoming April 2027 (immediately after the Easter holidays) for an estimated 1.5 years.
