Europe's largest tropical holiday world is located approx. 60 km south of Berlin and offers an unforgettable holiday experience for all ages. Tropical Islands Resort is situated in the idyllic nature of the popular Spreewald region, which is rich in interesting sights and excursion destinations, making it an ideal starting point for trips into a culturally and historically interesting area. The Johannismühle Wildlife Park is located about 21 km from the resort. The Lübben climbing forest, about 22 km away, rounds off the varied entertainment on offer in the surrounding area.

On approx. 66,000 m², you are welcomed by the largest indoor rainforest in the world, Europe's largest tropical sauna landscape, the South Sea with a 200 m sandy beach, and many more superlatives.
At around 26°C, you can relax in a deckchair 365 days a year, feel the fine sand under your feet, and enjoy the twilight on the beach. Or you can explore the South Sea, which is as large as three Olympic swimming pools with a pleasant water temperature of 28 °C.
The children's paradise, the Tropino Children's Club with a go-kart track and many other play facilities, will make children's eyes light up. A mini-golf course (for a fee) and the world's longest Double Racer slide offer you unique entertainment and sporting challenges.

AMAZONIA, the year-round open outdoor area of Tropical Islands. In addition to the pool landscape, the main attractions are the Whitewater River, Germany's longest wild water channel, and: Pororoca, the surf simulator (summer operation only).
From the beginning of October, the AMAZONIA outdoor area switches to winter operation (limited use; Monday-Sunday 11:00 am - 5:45 pm, subject to change). The year-round pool and the Whitewater River are available at the changed times. All other outdoor attractions are closed until the start of summer operation.
Summer operation runs from 5/4 to 9/30/25; Monday-Sunday 10:00 am - 7:45 pm; subject to change.

On over 35,000 square meters, there are water attractions with a total surface area of 1,350 square meters, extensive lounging areas for over 2,500 guests, and numerous facilities for sports activities and dining.
The portal of an Inca temple forms the themed passage from the hall to the outdoor area of Tropical Islands AMAZONIA.
A real adventure awaits guests here: Germany's longest current channel, the Whitewater River. The channel winds over 250 meters with branches and varying gradients, with a level difference of up to 3.5 meters through the landscape.

A pool of 530 square meters with various bubble and massage loungers, neck showers, waterfall showers, and a massage station offers relaxation for wellness fans. Various water games, such as geysers, whirlpools, or floor bubble systems, provide bathing fun for all ages. While the children train their balance on the skill course, adults can let themselves drift along the Lazy River current channel.
In another pool, visitors can primarily engage in sports activities. On a water surface of 390 square meters, there are three 25-meter lanes, swing grottos, a waterfall, a wide wave slide, and two rain gates, which are perfect for a lively water polo match.
All pools and the Whitewater River are heated. The temperature is around 31 degrees Celsius.
In the Spray Area, equipped with fun and splashy water games, the little ones in particular have fun while parents relax in the adjacent Relax Pool, keeping an eye on their offspring at all times.
The outdoor area is embedded in a dune landscape. In addition to lounging areas, there is also a surf simulator (for a fee) and sports areas. There is a beach soccer field, the dimensions of which comply with official guidelines for competitions. Another sports field can be divided as desired and used, for example, for beach volleyball.

Island Ballooning:
In the basket balloon, the whole family can go on a journey through the tropical airspace at a height of approx. 15 meters.

It gets splashy: on the Jungle Splash water playground! At over 650 square meters and with a total height of over 15 meters, 8 slides, and many additional play options, it is one of the largest in Germany.
And best of all: parents can join in the fun. Over 300 meters of slides guarantee endless water fun!

Let your children go on a discovery tour not far from the South Sea! The pink giant octopus, a particularly large and friendly resident, catches the eye. An anchored submarine lies at the edge, past whose portholes colorful fish swim. 3 slides, 2 shallow water pools, waterfall, water cannons, and many other small water attractions.

A bed tax is charged. This applies to persons 18 years and older and amounts to approx. € 2.14 per adult per night. The bed tax is charged exclusively on-site upon arrival. Currently excluded from the bed tax are the Woodland Homes as well as outdoor tents and pitches.
