Bodenmais is an ideal starting point for excursions around the Bavarian Forest, including destinations like the Silberberg with its visitor mine, summer toboggan run, and panoramic views. The Großer Arber should also be explored; at an altitude of 1,456m, it offers breathtaking views of the landscape and ideal conditions for hiking or winter sports.
