Location

Located on the inhabited island of Hanimadhoo in the Haa Dhaalu Atoll, in the northern, partially still almost untouched part of the Maldives. The transfer time by domestic flight is approx. 45 minutes, followed by a 15-minute transfer from the airport to the hotel. In some cases, the domestic flight lands in Kuludufushi, after which a speedboat transfer is carried out (approx. 30 minutes).

The ECO barefoot hotel has 64 rooms and 5 Heritage Villas, distributed among single-story bungalows with 4-10 living units each. The special hotel concept "barefoot travel" is based on ecotourism. Further hotel facilities include a reception area with a front desk and a boutique with a tailor shop. The main restaurant spoils its guests with breathtaking sea views and offers Mediterranean, Oriental, and international cuisine. Next to the restaurant is the bar, inviting you to relax with a cool drink and a magnificent view. There is also a floating bar where alcoholic beverages are available. Surrounded by coconut palms is the 25-meter swimming pool. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are included by the pool and on the private beach.

Speedboat: Operation for approx. arrival/departure between 5 AM and 11 PM // Domestic flight: Operation for approx. arrivals/departures between 9:30 AM and 4 PM // Seaplane: Operation expected for arrivals/departures between 9 AM and 3 PM.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
With seaplane transfers, there may be 1-2 intermediate landings.
For arrivals/departures outside the above times, in case of bad weather or long waiting times upon entry, an overnight stay in Male may be necessary.
