Location

The hotel is located directly on "Pakarang Beach," one of the most beautiful and pristine stretches of beach in Khao Lak. The town center, with its many local restaurants and shops, can be reached in approximately 20 minutes by car (complimentary shuttle service provided twice daily, upon advance reservation). The transfer time from Phuket Airport is approximately 80 minutes.

The family-friendly resort offers a total of 195 rooms and 60 villas, distributed across several three-story buildings and the garden area. Amenities include a lobby with a reception desk, seating areas, and a library. Culinary variety is provided by an à la carte restaurant serving national and international dishes, with buffets available on occasion. A beachside "Karkinos Beach Club" (open depending on weather conditions) serves Italian dishes and offers music and drinks. In the well-maintained outdoor area, three swimming pools with a separate children's pool and sun terraces invite guests to relax and unwind. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and pool towels are available free of charge at the pool.

Accommodation

Superior Double Room

The total of 93 rooms (approx. 42 m²) are modernly furnished with shower/WC, hairdryer, bathrobes/slippers, air conditioning, safe (included), telephone, minibar (for a fee), satellite TV, electric kettle for tea/coffee making, and a balcony with garden view (DSU).
Also available for single occupancy (DSE).

Deluxe Double Room

Same facilities as the Superior double rooms, but more spacious (approx. 47 m²) and equipped with a bathtub (DD2).
Available with sea view for an extra charge (D2M) and for single occupancy (DD1/DEM).

Deluxe Family Room

With the same facilities as the Deluxe rooms (approx. 47 m²), equipped with one king-size bed and an additional queen-size bed (2DF).

Pool Access Double Room

Equipped the same but more spacious (approx. 53 m²), located on the ground floor, featuring a shower integrated into the bathtub and a terrace with direct access to the communal pool (PO2). Pool Access rooms are only bookable for guests 12 years and older.
Also available for single occupancy (PO1).

Jacuzzi Villa

Same facilities as Superior double rooms, but more spacious (approx. 120 m² including outdoor area) and featuring a Jacuzzi, a separate living area, and a small garden with a gazebo and seating area (VJ2).

Pool Villa

Same facilities as Superior double rooms, but more spacious with a separate living area (approx. 180 m² including outdoor area) and additionally featuring a private pool (4 x 6 m) and a small garden with a gazebo and seating area (2PV).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased safety risk for small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children booked into these room types.

Family Pool Villa

Same facilities as the Pool Villa, but with an additional sleeping area (F2V).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased safety risk for small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children booked into these room types.

Meals

BB/HB

American breakfast buffet. When half-board is booked, lunch or dinner is included in buffet form or as a set menu (depending on occupancy).

All Inclusive

All Inclusive

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet form or as a set menu at the "Kinnaree" restaurant. Tea, coffee, sandwiches, cakes, and snacks are available during the day in the "Ila Lounge" from 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM. National alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included with meals and at the respective bars during operating hours from 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM. Selected cocktails are available at the All-Inclusive bar. House wine is only included with meals.
