Sunday: Departure from Germany to Phuket
Day 1 (Monday) ARRIVAL PHUKET
Arrival in Phuket and transfer to the hotel (transfers according to booking system). The rest of the day is at your leisure.
Overnight stay at the Proud Phuket Hotel or similar.
Day 2 (Tuesday) PHUKET-KHAO SOK
Early morning departure to Khao Sok National Park, an untouched rainforest surrounded by limestone mountains that span an area of around 646 km². The national park is home to wild animals such as elephants, leopards, serows, langurs, tigers, and bears. Rare plants can also be discovered here. On the way to the national park, there is a stop at Sarasin Bridge, the bridge connecting the mainland to Phuket Island. Here, you can enjoy the wonderful view. Always worth a visit is Wat Tha Sai, a beautiful teak chapel on the beach, surrounded by pine trees. A detour to the Lamphi Waterfalls in Khao Lampi-Hat Thai Mueang National Park is also a must.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Afterwards, return to the hotel.
At 3 PM, there is an opportunity to participate in a small canoe tour. On the canoe trip, you will experience the gently flowing Sok River and the magnificent nature of Khao Sok National Park. Become one with nature as steep limestone cliffs glide past you. With a little luck, you might spot sleeping snakes or a few monkeys in the dense green of the jungle. Each canoe holds two people plus a local guide from the surrounding villages. The guide paddles and steers the canoe. Halfway through, there is a short shore excursion with a small hike along the riverbank, where tea or coffee is prepared over an open fire (depending on the season and accessibility of the bank).
Overnight stay at the Anurak Community Lodge or similar.
Day 3 (Wednesday) KHAO SOK – KOH SAMUI
Cheow Lan Lake is a reservoir within Khao Sok National Park, created by the construction of the Rajjaprabha Dam. At the lake, you will find a breathtaking view of impressive limestone mountains as well as over 200 islands. A long-tail boat will take you to a viewpoint in the middle of the cliff-lined landscape.
Afterwards, continue to the ferry pier and cross to Koh Samui. After arrival, transfer to the hotel.
Overnight stay at the Coral Cliff Beach Resort or similar.
Day 4 (Thursday) KOH SAMUI
Today’s program includes a half-day island tour with a visit to the Nathorn Market, the Big Buddha on Koh Farn, and the well-known "Grandfather and Grandmother" rock formations. You will also get an insight into a rubber plantation. Lunch is included. The rest of the day is at your leisure.
Overnight stay at the Coral Cliff Beach Resort or similar.
Day 5 (Friday) KOH SAMUI-KRABI
Early morning drive to the ferry pier and crossing back to the mainland. On the way to Krabi, visit a palm oil plantation and the Pa Phru Tha Pom Khlong Song Nam Nature Park. "Klong Song Nam" means "river of two waters" – here, in the mangrove forest, seawater meets the crystal-clear freshwater of the river. A hike on a circular path leads along this special natural phenomenon.
Lunch in a local restaurant. Afterwards, transfer to the hotel.
Overnight stay at the Krabi La Playa or similar.
Day 6 (Saturday) KRABI – KHAO LAK
After breakfast, continue to Phang Nga, where you will explore the most important sights.
Afterwards, boat trip through Phang Nga Bay to explore James Bond Island and Koh Panyi, a fishing village built on stilts. Lunch is included today. Afterwards, continue to Phuket to the hotel.
FOR RETURN FLIGHTS ON THE LAST DAY OF THE ROUND TRIP: DEPARTURE AFTER 9 PM!
