Location

The InterContinental Koh Samui is located directly on the private sandy beach of Chaweng Beach in the lively northeast of Koh Samui. From the property, guests enjoy sea views and access to an on-site pool area, while restaurants, bars, and shopping facilities along the beach promenade are easily accessible. The location offers a central base for discovering the vibrant nightlife, diverse gastronomy, and the wide range of leisure activities in Chaweng. Transfers to Koh Samui Airport take approximately 15–30 minutes, depending on traffic.

Facilities

The beautiful resort features 79 rooms, villas, and suites and offers a lobby with a reception, souvenir shops, and boutiques, a bar, and two restaurants that provide a large selection of various dishes.
In the beautiful outdoor area, there is an infinity pool, the beach pool, as well as sun terraces with sun loungers and parasols.

Resort Classic

The rooms are located in the main building, are approx. 65 m² in size, and feature a bathtub, shower, toilet, hairdryer, bathrobe, slippers, air conditioning, minibar, safe, telephone, satellite TV, and a balcony with garden view. (D)

Club Ocean View

With the same amenities and location as the Resort Classic rooms, these offer a panoramic view of the sea. In addition, guests enjoy exclusive club benefits. (2GX)

Club Horizon Suite

With the same amenities as the Club Ocean View rooms, these are more spacious (approx. 120 m²), are located at the top of the Cliff Villas, and also offer exclusive club benefits. (HCD)

Club Private Pool Villa

With the same amenities and club benefits as the Club Ocean View, these are more spacious (approx. 99 m²) and additionally offer a private pool and separate whirlpool on the terrace (2IO).
Also bookable in the first beach row (PVZ).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk for young children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Two Bedroom Family Villa

The family villas are approx. 240 m² in size and span 2 floors. With otherwise the same amenities as the Resort Classic, these offer 2 separate bedrooms and many amenities for children such as toys, free ice cream and soft drinks throughout the day, and one complimentary children's activity per stay.
