Short round trip 4 nights/5 days
1st Day: Colombo Airport – Dambulla-Sigiriya
Arrival at Colombo airport, welcome by the tour guide and departure at approx. 12 PM towards Dambulla. Visit the impressive cave temples with countless Buddha statues, which are part of the World Heritage. Guests who have already booked a pre-stay will meet the group at the airport in the morning.
Overnight stay and dinner at Hotel Kasyapa Rock or similar.
2nd Day: Sigiriya
After breakfast, drive to the famous rock fortress of Sigiriya. Climb the 200m high Lion Rock, where King Kassapa built a fortress in the 5th century. In the afternoon, you can either relax at the hotel or take part in an optional excursion to Polonnaruwa.
Overnight stay and dinner at Hotel Kasyapa Rock or similar.
3rd Day: Sigiriya – Matale-Kandy
On this day, you will continue towards Kandy and visit a typical spice and herbal garden in Matale on the way. Continue to Kandy, the last royal city of the country. City tour in Kandy. Optionally, you can visit the Temple of the Tooth. In the evening, visit a traditional dance show.

4th Day: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya-Kandy
After visiting a gemstone cutting workshop, the route goes up over serpentine roads into the evergreen mountains of the island. During the visit to a tea factory, the workers will explain their craft to you and you will receive a cup of freshly brewed tea here. In Nuwara Eliya, known as the city above the clouds, you can still feel the influence of the English colonial masters today. City tour and market visit.

5th Day: Kandy – Colombo
After breakfast, visit the Botanical Garden of Peradeniya. Known for its countless plants, orchids and tropical flora, it is one of the most beautiful botanical gardens in Asia. (For package tours, the transfer to the connecting hotel is automatically included; for module bookings, this can be booked on request and for an extra charge).

For an extra charge, the round trip can also be booked as a private, guaranteed round trip. Surcharges according to the system.

In Sri Lanka, sinks or bathtubs/whirlpools can be integrated openly in the general living area of the hotel room without spatial separation. **************************************
In Sri Lanka, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. For an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, it may be that only 1 or 2 large beds are available in total. **************************************

The beaches are generally public natural beaches. Depending on current and weather conditions, the beach sand may be washed away.

Diving season:
· On the east coast from the beginning of May to the end of September
· On the south coast all year round
· South-west coast from the end of October to the middle of April
