Location

The hotel is located on the beautiful sandy beach of Beruwela. Opposite lies the peninsula of the Bentota River, where the kilometer-long Bentota beach continues. The town center is about 3 km away. The transfer time from Colombo Airport is approx. 2 hours (approx. 96 km).

This first-class hotel offers a harmonious combination of wellness, therapy, high quality, beach, and all-inclusive services. The hotel has been modernly yet stylishly adapted to the local architecture. The U-shaped building complex, consisting of a total of 102 rooms and 6 suites, opens towards the sea and encloses a tropical garden with ornamental ponds, a freshwater swimming pool, a pool bar, and well-maintained sunbathing lawns. Hotel amenities include a lounge, a lobby bar, the air-conditioned restaurant Batahira with terrace, an Ayurveda restaurant with terrace, a boutique, a library, and a DVD rental. The professional Ayurveda spa center is available for a fee, while free Wi-Fi is accessible to all guests. Sun umbrellas and beach towels are provided free of charge by the pool.

The Comfort rooms are approximately 45 sqm, with a bathroom with bathtub and separate toilet, hairdryer, bathrobe, slippers, air conditioning, satellite TV (Deutsche Welle), music channel, minibar (soft drinks included), safe, and a large balcony or terrace (with mosquito net upon request). Sea side with view to the pool and the tropical garden.

Equipped like the Comfort rooms, with a walk-in rain shower, separate toilet, and bidet, bathrobe, slippers. Additionally, a kettle for coffee/tea preparation and a DVD player (free DVD rental at reception). Breakfast, lunch, and dinner, primarily in buffet form. 3 times a week, 4-course dinner as a menu choice. At the beginning and end of the treatment, you will be examined by a doctor who will tailor your treatment individually to you. Wellness Pur offers you daily Ayurvedic treatments based on Panchakarma.
The program consists of approx. 20 treatments such as head or foot massages, full body synchronized massages, oil stream head treatments (Shirodhara), intensive massages, thermo-rice massages, herbal baths, flower baths, Tai Chi, water aerobics, meditation, and yoga.
Wellness Pur is ideal for those who have no health problems but want to relax and recover from everyday stress and achieve more vitality.

During the Panchakarma cure, you will first be examined by a doctor who will prescribe the treatments according to your health condition and discuss the therapy plan with you. Together with Ayurvedic nutrition and Ayurvedic remedies, you will detoxify and revitalize your body. This cure promotes your health, gives you new life force, stimulates your immune and self-healing powers, and maintains the functionality of body and mind into old age. With our meditation, yoga, and movement therapies, you will further enhance the well-being effect.
