Location

As the perfect accommodation for a luxurious beach holiday, the Embudu Village Resort is located not far from the capital, Malé, which is worth a day trip and where you will find further shops and markets as well as the tourist center. The international airport (MLE) is approximately 30 km away. At Embudu Village, guests can expect quiet, lush nature and dreamy, fine-sand white beaches, while the numerous diving opportunities in the North and South Male Atolls are sure to delight diving enthusiasts.

Facilities

A simple, bright design with classic elements and stylistic highlights typical of the island runs through the entire complex and its 122 accommodations. Guests enjoy the convenience of a 24-hour reception, a cozy lobby, air conditioning, and a small shop for browsing. Pure pleasure with a themed buffet is served in the main restaurant; in addition, there is the option of a private dinner on the beach for an extra charge, or you can enjoy a delicious sundowner at the bar. Sports and entertainment programs, as well as the "Serena Spa" in the hotel, offer a wide range of activities for all types of travelers, and Wi-Fi is available to guests throughout the entire resort.

Superior Bungalow - Speedboat

Located just a few steps from the beach, the modernly designed Superior Bungalows feature a cozy double bed, a small private terrace, a bathroom with shower/WC and hairdryer, centrally controlled air conditioning, telephone, minibar (possibly for a fee), safe, desk, and coffee/tea-making facilities (approx. 42m², 2BU).

Water Bungalow - Speedboat

The Water Bungalows, featuring plenty of wood tones, are suitable for up to three people and include a seating area with a sofa bed in addition to the double bed. The bathroom offers a bathtub or shower; otherwise, the amenities are similar to the Superior Bungalow, and the Water Bungalows offer a bit more space (approx. 47m², 2WB).

Speedboat: Operation for expected arrival/departure from 5 AM to 11 PM // Domestic flight: Operation expected for arrivals/departures from 9:30 AM to 4 PM // Seaplane: Operation expected for arrivals/departures from 9 AM to 3 PM.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfers are possible.
There may be 1–2 stopovers during seaplane transfers.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Malé must be booked in advance. The costs for this are to be borne by the guest. Excluded are changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or long waiting times at immigration (in which case our local agency will take care of any necessary overnight stay).
Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the location of the island) as well as currently most domestic flights are only carried out during the day. Therefore, an overnight stay in Malé may be necessary.

The baggage allowance for seaplanes is 20 kg + 5 kg hand luggage per person. Excess baggage must be paid for on-site (approx. 5 USD per kg). Excess baggage is generally delivered later by boat.

In the Maldives, sinks or even bathtubs/whirlpools can be integrated openly in the general living area of the hotel room without spatial separation.

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. With an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, there may only be a total of 1 or 2 large beds available. Accordingly, it may happen that with 2 adults + 1 or 2 children in one room, one child must sleep in the parents' bed.

Please note that rooms with direct pool/sea access are only bookable for travelers with children aged 7 and older for safety reasons.
