Location

As the perfect accommodation for a luxurious beach holiday, the Embudu Village Resort is located not far from the capital Malé, which is worth a day trip and where you can find further shops, markets, and the tourist center. The international airport (MLE) is approximately 30 km away. At Embudu Village, guests are greeted by quiet, lush nature and dreamy fine-sand white beaches, while numerous diving opportunities in the North and South Male Atolls will delight diving enthusiasts.

Facilities

A simple, bright design with classic elements and stylistic highlights typical of the island runs throughout the entire complex and its 122 units. Guests enjoy the comfort of a 24-hour reception, a cozy lobby, cool air conditioning, and a small shop for daily needs. Pure enjoyment with theme-rich buffets is served in the main restaurant, and there is also the option of a private dinner on the beach for an additional charge, or one can enjoy a delicious sundowner at the bar. Sports and entertainment programs as well as the "Serena Spa" in the hotel offer a wide range of activities for all types of travelers, and Wi-Fi is available to guests throughout the facility.

Bungalow Superior-Speedboat

Just a few steps from the beach, the Superior Bungalows feature a modern design, a cozy double bed, a small private terrace, a bathroom with shower/WC and hairdryer, centrally controlled air conditioning, telephone, minibar (may be subject to a fee), safe, desk, and coffee and tea-making facilities (approx. 42m², 2BU).

Water Bungalow-Speedboat

The Water Bungalows, featuring many wooden tones, are suitable for up to three people and include a seating area with a sofa bed in addition to the double bed. The bathroom offers a bathtub or shower; otherwise, the amenities are similar to the Superior Bungalow, and the Water Bungalows offer slightly more space (approx. 47m², 2WB).

Speedboat: Operations scheduled for arrival/departure from 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM // Domestic flight: Operations scheduled for arrivals/departures from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM // Seaplane: Operations scheduled for arrivals/departures from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
There may be 1–2 intermediate stops during seaplane transfers.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Malé must be booked in advance. The costs for this are to be borne by the guest. Exceptions are changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or longer waiting times at immigration (in such cases, our local agency will take care of a potential overnight stay).
Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the location of the island), as well as most domestic flights currently, are only conducted during daylight hours. Therefore, an overnight stay in Malé may be necessary.

The baggage limit for seaplanes is 20 kg + 5 kg hand luggage per person. Excess baggage must be paid for on-site (approx. 5 USD per kg). Excess baggage is generally delivered later by boat.

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. With an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, it may be that only 1 or 2 large beds are available in total. Accordingly, it may occur that with 2 adults + 1 or 2 children in one room, a child must sleep in the parents' bed.
