Location

The JW Mariott Maldives Kaafu Atoll Island Resort is located in the South Male Atoll, an easily accessible atoll. The island, measuring approximately 600m x 200m, impresses with its breathtaking location on a private island, surrounded by crystal-clear turquoise water and white sandy beaches. Guests of the JW Mariott Maldives can discover the colorful coral reefs and rich marine life right on their doorstep. The island is reachable from the airport by speedboat in approximately 15 minutes.

The resort, newly opened in early 2025, offers a total of 80 rooms and exudes top-class luxury. In addition to the reception area, the complex features a boutique shop. A highlight is the JW Garden, where its own fruits, vegetables, herbs, etc. are grown. The resort has a total of four restaurants and two bars. Culinary delights are provided by the main restaurant, serving international cuisine, the gourmet restaurant "Riva" which serves Indian dishes, "Athiri" spoils with South American cuisine, and "PURE" impresses with regional cuisine, using products from the in-house JW Garden.
Three large swimming pools (one of which is adults-only) complete the extensive offerings. Umbrellas, sun loungers with mattresses, and beach towels are available free of charge at the beach and by the pools.

Accommodation

Overwater Pool Villa

The approx. 155 sqm villas are modernly furnished and feature a king-size bed, a bathroom with a shower and an additional outdoor shower, toilet, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, TV, coffee/tea maker, minibar (for a fee), complimentary water, safe, iron, slippers, and a private pool with sun loungers.

Beach Pool Villa

With similar amenities, these villas also offer approx. 155 sqm and direct beach access. Rooms are also available for booking on the sunset side for an extra charge (V2S).

Meals

BB/HB/FB

Breakfast buffet at "VEYO". With half board booked, also includes dinner as a buffet at "VEYO". With full board booked, also includes lunch at "VEYO" or "WAHOO" and dinner at "VEYO".
For guests with HB and FB booked, a daily credit of USD 155 per adult or USD 77.50 per child is provided for all other restaurants.

Speedboat: Operates for estimated arrival/departure between 5 AM and 11 PM // Domestic flight: Operates for arrivals/departures between 9:30 AM and 4 PM // Seaplane: Operates for arrivals/departures between 9 AM and 3 PM.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
The seaplane transfer may involve 1-2 stopovers.
For arrivals/departures outside the above times, in case of bad weather, or for long waiting times during entry, an overnight stay in Male may be necessary.

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. For an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, there may only be 1 or 2 large beds available in total.
