Location

SAii Lagoon Maldives-Curio Collection by Hilton is located in the North Male Atoll on a 450 m long and 100 m wide island featuring beautiful white sandy beaches and tropical vegetation. Due to short transfer times and diverse leisure activities on the island, it is perfect for Maldives beginners, honeymooners, and families. Male Airport is approximately 15 minutes away by speedboat.

Facilities

Opened in June 2019, the resort features a total of 198 rooms and villas spread across the island and over the lagoon. Amenities include a reception and a souvenir shop. Culinary delights are provided by the main restaurant "Miss Olive Oyl" with an outdoor terrace, and the specialty restaurant "Mr Tom Yam" offering fusion cuisine with Thai influences. Additional cool refreshments and snacks are available at the pool bar, "bean/Co Café Bakery," and a snack bar. The pool with a view of the sea invites you to relax. Sun loungers and beach towels are included at the beach and pool. Unique is the proximity to the "Crossroads" marina (less than 100 meters away), where various cafes, restaurants (e.g., Kalhu Odi), beach clubs, a duty-free shop, a water sports center, and much more await you.

Sky Room

These approx. 44 m² stylish rooms are located on the upper floor and feature a bath or shower/WC, MIY-brand toiletries (customizable), hairdryer, bathrobe/slippers, seating area, air conditioning, flatscreen TV, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, twin beds, and a balcony with sea view (rooms with a king bed available upon request for an extra charge) (SY2).

Beach Room

With the same amenities as the Sky Studios (44 m²), located on the ground floor with a terrace and direct beach access (rooms with a king bed available upon request for an extra charge) (UH2).

Beach Villa

With the same amenities as the Beach Rooms, detached and slightly more spacious (60 m²), including a semi-open bathroom with an outdoor shower and bathtub (B2V).

With the same amenities as the Beach Villas, additionally featuring a private pool (VPZ).

Extensive breakfast buffet at Café del Mar at the marina. When booking half-board, dinner is also included as a buffet or à la carte. When booking full board, lunch is also included as a buffet or à la carte.

Speedboat: Operation for expected arrival/departure from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m.//Domestic flight: Operation expected for arrivals/departures from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.//Seaplane: Operation expected for arrivals/departures from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
There may be 1–2 intermediate stops during seaplane transfers.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Male must be booked in advance. The costs for this must be borne by the guest. Exceptions are changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or longer waiting times at immigration (in which case our local agency will take care of any necessary overnight stay).
Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the island's location), as well as currently most domestic flights, only operate during daylight hours. Therefore, an overnight stay in Male may be necessary.

The baggage allowance for seaplanes is 20 kg + 3 kg carry-on per person. Excess baggage must be paid for on-site (approx. 5 USD per kg). Excess baggage is usually delivered by boat.

In the Maldives, sinks or even bathtubs/whirlpools may be integrated openly into the general living area of the hotel room without spatial separation.

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. For an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, it may be that only 1 or 2 large beds are available. Consequently, when staying with 2 adults + 1 or 2 children in one room, a child may have to sleep in the parents' bed.

Please note that rooms with direct pool/sea access cannot be booked for travelers with children under 7 years of age for safety reasons.
