Location

The approx. 800m long resort is located on the exotic island of “Emboodhu Finolhu”, right in the middle of one of the largest and most impressive lagoons in the Maldives. The tropical island, with its magnificent flora and fauna, offers excellent opportunities for diving and swimming in dreamlike waters. The transfer time from the airport is approximately 15-20 minutes by speedboat.

The Taj Exotica Resort & Spa Maldives is situated on a picturesque private island and offers an exclusive and tranquil atmosphere with only 62 elegant villas. From a culinary perspective, the hotel features several restaurants and bars. The "24 Degrees" restaurant serves Asian dishes and "Mediterraneo by Jeffrey Vella" offers Mediterranean cuisine. Additionally, snacks and drinks are served at the "Mediterraneo Waterfront" during lunchtime. Further amenities include the "Equator Bar", a library, a swimming pool and sun terrace, one of the most beautiful Maldivian spa areas, and a boutique. Sun loungers and parasols are available free of charge on the beach and by the pool.

Ocean Villa Sunrise

The Ocean Villa Sunrise are very generously furnished (approx. 71 m² incl. outdoor area) and built on stilts over the lagoon. Facilities include a bathroom/WC, bathrobes, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV with DVD player, telephone, safe, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, a furnished terrace, and direct access to the sea.

With the same features and location as the Sunrise Overwater Villa, these are even more spacious (approx. 94 m² incl. outdoor area) and additionally equipped with a private plunge pool and daybed on the terrace.

Breakfast in the "24 Degrees" restaurant, lunch and dinner as a 3-course à la carte menu within the framework of the dine-around concept in selected restaurants. Selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (11 a.m. – 11 p.m.) such as soft drinks, juices, coffee, tea, beer, house wine, spirits, as well as classic cocktails and mocktails. Daily replenished minibar with selected soft drinks, juices, snacks, and beer. During the stay, snorkeling equipment is included, as well as 1 hour of daily use of a canoe, pedal boat, or stand-up paddleboard. For experienced guests, catamaran sailing and windsurfing are also possible. The All-Inclusive package begins with lunch on the day of arrival and ends with breakfast on the day of departure.

The modern “J Wellness Circle” wellness oasis is built on stilts over the lagoon and features seven treatment rooms with breathtaking sea views. All treatments, steam bath, sauna, massages, and various beauty treatments (e.g., Indian Ayurveda treatments) in the spa area are available for a fee.

Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
There may be 1–2 intermediate stops for seaplane transfers.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Malé must be booked in advance. The costs for this are to be borne by the guest. Exceptions include changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or long waiting times upon entry (in these cases, our local agency will take care of any necessary overnight stay).

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. With an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, there may only be a total of 1 or 2 large beds available. Consequently, it may happen that when 2 adults + 1 or 2 children are in one room, a child must sleep in the parents' bed.

All flight transfers as well as most boat transfers (depending on the island's location) are only carried out during the day. Therefore, an overnight stay in Malé (near the airport) may be necessary.
