Location

Located in the south of the Ari Atoll on the elongated island of Didhoofinolhu (approx. 1800 x 200 m). The island is surrounded by a dreamlike lagoon and a breathtaking beach. Due to its species-rich underwater world, this luxury resort is an ideal starting point for diving and snorkeling excursions. It is approx. 300-600 m to the house reef and 800-3000 m to the outer reef. Male airport is approx. 110 km away. The transfer is by seaplane and takes approximately 25-30 minutes.

The expansive luxury resort features 192 villas. Accommodation is in double and single bungalows, various restaurants (including international, oriental, Italian, and Japanese), the Café LUX*, five bars, the "Beach Rouge" club, a souvenir shop, a library, and an ice cream parlor. One of many highlights is the "Phone Home" telephone booth for free international landline calls. Two swimming pools with sun decks and pool bars. Sun loungers, parasols, and bath towels are included at the pools and on the beach.

Beach Pavilion

The spacious rooms (approx. 60 m² incl. outdoor area) are located in the eastern part of the island and feature a bathtub and shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, ceiling fan, safe, IP TV (movies on demand available for a fee), telephone, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, seating area, and veranda with loungers (2BP). The Beach Pavilions are located in villas with 2 residential units each.

The Beach Villas have similar amenities to the Beach Pavilions but are more spacious, approx. 95 m² incl. outdoor area (B2V)

Beach Pool Villa

The Beach Pool Villas have similar amenities to the Beach Villa but are more spacious (approx. 116 m² incl. outdoor area) and additionally feature a private pool. (VPZ)

Water Villa

The villas, built on stilts over the sea, are renovated and have direct access to the sea. Size approx. 98 m² incl. outdoor area. (2WV)

Overwater Infinity Pool Villa

The luxurious Overwater Infinity Pool Villas (approx. 110 m²) feature a bathroom with bathtub/shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, safe, minibar, telephone, Wi-Fi, TV, and a king-size bed. They also offer a spacious outdoor terrace with a private infinity pool, sun loungers, bird's nest swing, and direct access to the lagoon. Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for small children. Beachfront Infinity Pool Villa

The approx. 136 m² villas are located in a secluded, lush garden and offer direct access to the beach and lagoon. They feature a king-size bed, bathroom with bathtub and separate shower, separate WC, air conditioning, ceiling fan, minibar, coffee/tea making facilities, safe, satellite TV, and Wi-Fi. The furnished terrace with a private infinity pool and ocean view completes the amenities. (BPV)

With HB, additional dinner in buffet form (MIXE or East Market restaurant) or as a set menu (Senses or Beach Rouge restaurant).

Breakfast and dinner as a rich buffet in one of the two buffet restaurants, lunch and dinner in one of the à la carte restaurants (except Umami and Allegria). Coffee, tea, and afternoon ice cream all day long. Selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks such as beer, wine, sparkling wine, spirits, soft drinks, and water from approx. 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Included food and drinks are specially marked on the menus and drink lists of the à la carte restaurants as well as in the minibar in the room.

Not included in All Inclusive

Japanese à la carte restaurant "Umami" and the Italian à la carte restaurant "Allegria". When booking HB or higher, guests receive a credit of 30 USD per person.

Premium All Inclusive

Additionally freshly squeezed juices, champagne (by the glass), and one dinner per stay at the "Umami" and "Allegria" restaurants at no extra charge.

The "LUX* Me Spa" is one of the largest wellness areas in the Maldives with 15 treatment rooms (11 garden treatment rooms and four overwater treatment rooms). Hammam, sauna, ice room, relaxation area, manicure & pedicure salon. All treatments are for a fee.

Speedboat: Scheduled for arrivals/departures from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m.//Domestic flight: Scheduled for arrivals/departures from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.//Seaplane: Scheduled for arrivals/departures from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfers are possible.
There may be 1–2 stopovers on seaplane transfers.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Malé must be booked in advance. Costs are to be borne by the guest. Exceptions apply to changes caused by flight delays, bad weather, or long waiting times upon entry (in these cases, our local agency will handle any necessary overnight stays).

Most rooms in the Maldives are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. With an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, there may only be 1 or 2 large beds available in total. Consequently, it may happen that when 2 adults + 1 or 2 children share a room, a child must sleep in the parents' bed.

Destination information

All flight transfers as well as most boat transfers (depending on the island's location) are only carried out during the day. Therefore, an overnight stay in Malé (near the airport) may be necessary.

The baggage allowance for seaplanes is 20 kg + 3 kg of hand luggage per person. Excess baggage must be paid for on-site (approx. 5 USD per kg). Excess baggage is usually delivered by boat.

In the Maldives, washbasins or even bathtubs/whirlpools may be integrated openly into the general living area of the hotel room without a spatial separation.
