Location

Alila Kothaifaru Maldives is located on a lush private island of approximately 11.2 hectares, nestled in the idyllic Raa Atoll. Its position on the western edge of the atoll lends the resort a particularly tranquil and exclusive atmosphere. Here, guests can expect an almost untouched natural landscape with powdery white sandy beaches, turquoise waters, and tropical vegetation. The Raa Atoll is known for its impressive underwater world. Numerous first-class diving and snorkeling spots with colorful coral formations, vibrant reefs, and a fascinating diversity of marine life await around the island. Directly off the coast, there is also an in-house house reef, easily accessible from the beach, offering ideal conditions for spontaneous snorkeling trips. Transfer is by seaplane (approx. 45 minutes).

The island features 81 villas spread across the entire island, both on land and over water. Facilities include a 24-hour reception, a boutique, a souvenir shop, and an air-conditioned library on the beach. For your culinary enjoyment, there are 5 restaurants and bars. The main restaurant "Seasalt" is located directly on the beach and serves Mediterranean dishes, fish, and seafood, as well as vegan options daily à la carte. The specialty restaurant "Umami" serves Japanese dishes and fish/seafood, also located directly on the beach. "Pibati Sul Mare" offers Italian cuisine such as pizza and pasta. For snacks, cool refreshments, and a selection of Portuguese and Arabic-inspired cocktails and fine wines, the Mirus Bar is available. Asian-inspired cocktails, mocktails, and shakes, as well as spirits, can be found at the Yakitori Bar. For romantic excursions, a visit to the private sandbank "The Shack" is recommended, which also houses a restaurant. Umbrellas, sun loungers with cushions, and beach towels are available free of charge by the pools and on the beach.

The Beach Pool Villas (approx. 20 sqm) are located directly on the beach with sunrise views. These villas also feature the same amenities.

Sunset Beach Pool Villa

The Sunset Beach Pool Villas (approx. 202 sqm) are located directly on the beach on the sunrise side and are also available on the sunset side at an extra charge. They feature an indoor and outdoor shower and bathtub, air conditioning, safe, coffee/tea maker, kettle, TV, free Wi-Fi, and a hairdryer. A terrace with a lounger, seating area, and private pool is also provided. (S2V)

Lagoon Overwater Pool Villa

The Lagoon Overwater Pool Villas (approx. 125 sqm) have the same amenities as the Sunset Beach Pool Villas, but the Overwater Villa is located on the sunrise side and is built on stilts over the water in the lagoon.

Ocean Pool Villa

The Ocean Pool Villas (approx. 125 sqm) also have the same amenities as the previous ones and are built on stilts on the ocean side. They are also available on the sunset side at an extra charge.

Breakfast buffet. Half board includes daily breakfast and lunch or dinner at the Seasalt restaurant. Full board offers the option to also have lunch at Pibati, and water is included with lunch and dinner.

Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
Seaplane transfers may include 1-2 intermediate stops.
For arrivals/departures outside the above times, in case of bad weather, or longer waiting times upon entry, an overnight stay in Male may be necessary.
