Location

The island is located in the still almost untouched Raa Atoll and is surrounded by a beautiful white sandy beach. The transfer time from Malé International Airport by seaplane is approx. 45 minutes.

Newly opened in 2021, the Cora Cora Maldives is a modern and luxurious 5-star resort with 100 villas scattered across the island. The island, which is covered in lush vegetation, also offers a sprawling turquoise lagoon and a dream beach. Amenities include an open-plan reception area with seating, a heritage area with historical excavations, and a small museum displaying relics of the past. Four international restaurants offer a culinary journey for the palate with a huge selection of excellent and authentic delicacies: Ginger Moon® serves authentic Asian specialties, Tazäa® is the all-day dining restaurant offering international cuisine, Acquapazza® impresses with Italian treats, and Teien® rounds off the offering with delicious sushi and teppanyaki. In addition, the non-stop coffee, tea, ice cream, and snack shop MYCOFFEE® offers a cozy flair in an open-air lounge café. A total of 2 bars provide cool refreshments. Sun loungers and parasols are available free of charge by the swimming pool and on the beach.

Accommodation

Beach Villa

The Beach Villas are approx. 63m² in size, are lined up along the beach, and feature a large bathroom with indoor and outdoor shower, bathtub/WC, hairdryer, bathrobe/slippers, air conditioning, minibar, flatscreen TV, safe, coffee/tea maker, and a furnished sun terrace that offers direct access to the beach (2BV/1BV/3BV). Also bookable with a private pool (approx. 84m²) for an extra charge (VPZ).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children booked into these room types.

Lagoon Villa

With similar equipment, these are approx. 70m² in size and built on stilts over the sea. The rooms have direct access to the lagoon but without an outdoor shower. Additionally equipped with a hammock in the bathroom (LV2). Also bookable with a private pool for an extra charge (W2P).

Speedboat: Operation for expected arrival/departure from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m.//Domestic flight: Operation expected for arrivals/departures from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.//Seaplane: Operation expected for arrivals/departures from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
There may be 1–2 stopovers for seaplane transfers.
For arrivals/departures outside of these times, an overnight stay in Malé must be booked in advance. The costs for this are to be borne by the guest. Exceptions are changes caused by flight delays, bad weather, or longer waiting times at immigration (in such cases, our local agency will take care of any necessary overnight stay).
Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the location of the island), as well as currently most domestic flights, are only carried out during the day. Therefore, an overnight stay in Male may be necessary.
