Location

The island of Dhigali (approx. 1,000 x 260 m) is located in the middle of the Raa Atoll. It is surrounded by a white, gently shelving sandy beach that invites you to take romantic strolls. The transfer time from the destination airport Male is approx. 25 minutes by domestic flight to Dharavandhoo or Ifuru Airport, followed by a 45-minute speedboat ride. A seaplane transfer (approx. 45 minutes) can be booked at an extra charge.

This trendy resort features a modern design that combines luxury with a casual ambiance. The elongated island has a total of 180 accommodation units distributed throughout the lush garden landscape. Amenities include a reception area with seating, currency exchange, a souvenir shop, a small boutique, and a games room. Culinary options include 3 à la carte restaurants (grilled dishes, Asian, Turkish, Indian, and international) as well as the main restaurant "Capers". Cool refreshments are served at 2 bars. In the well-maintained, tropical garden area, the swimming pool landscape with 3 pools and a sun terrace with loungers invites you to relax and unwind. Sun loungers, parasols, and pool towels are available free of charge.

Accommodation

Beach Bungalow

The approx. 70 m² Beach Bungalows are located in the middle of the garden and feature an open-air bathroom with a semi-open rain shower. The rooms also offer a wide, covered veranda with sun loungers for relaxing. Facilities include a king-size bed, safe (included), minibar (included), coffee/tea maker, LCD TV, as well as boutique bath amenities and bathrobes.

Deluxe Beach Bungalow

The Deluxe Beach Bungalows are more spacious (approx. 85 m²) but feature the same amenities.

Beach Villa

The approx. 115 m² Beach Villas have similar features but additionally include a bathtub in the semi-open bathroom.

Beach Villa Pool

The approx. 121 m² Beach Villas are ideal for couples. The villas offer magnificent sea views and have a semi-open bathroom with a rain shower as well as a large covered veranda. The highlight is the private pool and sun loungers.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased potential danger for small children. Therefore, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types for safety reasons.

Water Villa

The elegant, approx. 85 m² Water Villas are located over the ocean, just a stone's throw from the colorful house reef. Each villa has a wooden sun deck with direct access to the sea. The bathroom is located inside the villa and features a rain shower and a bathtub.

Lagoon Villa

The approx. 117 m² Lagoon Villas offer similar amenities to the Water Villas but additionally feature a pool on the terrace.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served buffet-style in the "Capers" buffet restaurant. Lunch can optionally be taken at the pizzeria, café, or "Jade". Daily changing theme buffet at dinner. Dinner is optionally available at one of the three specialty restaurants "Faru", "Battuta", or "Jade" (subject to availability, requires reservation). Unlimited selection of 80 different premium wines and beers from around the world, available in all restaurants and bars. Large selection of premium brand spirits. Unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails, spirits, and a selection of coffee, various juices, soft drinks, and Dhigali mineral water at the respectively open bar. Premium minibar, refilled once daily with selected beers, wines, soft drinks, spirits, Dhigali water, and snacks. The following activities are included: snorkeling equipment, non-motorized water sports, group yoga classes, and two excursions (glass-bottom boat trip and Dolphin Cruise).

Wait times of 3 hours or more for onward transfers are possible.
There may be 1–2 stopovers during seaplane transfers.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Malé must be booked in advance. The costs for this must be borne by the guest. Excluded are changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or longer waiting times at immigration (in such cases, our local agency will take care of any necessary overnight stay).
Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the location of the island) as well as currently most domestic flights are only carried out during daylight hours. Therefore, an overnight stay in Male may be necessary.

The baggage allowance for seaplanes is 20 kg + 3 kg hand luggage per person. Excess baggage must be paid for on-site (approx. 5 USD per kg). Excess baggage is usually delivered by boat afterward.

Most rooms in the Maldives are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. For an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, it is possible that only 1 or 2 large beds are available.
