Location

The island is located in the almost untouched Raa Atoll and is surrounded by a breathtaking white sandy beach. The house reef (approx. 30–100m away) is ideal for diving and snorkeling. The transfer time from Malé airport is approx. 20 minutes by domestic flight, followed by approx. 40 minutes by speedboat. Transfer by seaplane (approx. 45 minutes) can be booked on request and for a fee.

This barefoot resort, with 150 lovingly and modernly furnished villas, offers relaxation for couples, families, and solo travelers. A total of six restaurants cater to culinary needs, including, for example, a restaurant for grilled specialties, a café, and six bars distributed across the island. In addition to the comfortable loungers on the villa terraces, parasols and loungers are available free of charge at the swimming pool and on the beach.

Deluxe Beach Villa

The Deluxe Beach Villas (approx. 74 m² including terrace) are located directly on the beach and feature a semi-open bathroom with an outdoor shower, WC, bathtub, hairdryer, bathrobe, fan, air conditioning, minibar (for a fee), TV, safe, coffee/tea maker, kettle, and a terrace with sea views (D2V/D3V). Also available with a pool for an additional charge (V2H).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased safety risk for young children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for bookings of these room types for children.

Water Villa

The Water Villas (approx. 95 m² including terrace) are built on stilts over the lagoon and feature a semi-open bathroom with an outdoor shower, bathtub, WC, hairdryer, bathrobe, fan, air conditioning, minibar (for a fee), TV, safe, coffee/tea maker, kettle, and a terrace with sea views and parasols (W2V).

Sunset Water Villa

The stylish Water Villas with sunset view feature a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, ceiling fan, safe, minibar, telephone, coffee/tea maker, Wi-Fi, satellite TV, and a king-size bed. Speedboat: Expected for arrivals/departures between 5 a.m. and 11 p.m. // Domestic flight: Expected for arrivals/departures between 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. // Seaplane: Expected for arrivals/departures between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
There may be 1–2 stopovers for seaplane transfers.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an intermediate overnight stay in Malé must be booked in advance. The costs for this must be borne by the guest. Exceptions are changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or longer waiting times at immigration (in which case our local agency will take care of a potential overnight stay).
Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the location of the island), as well as currently most domestic flights, only operate during daylight hours. Therefore, an intermediate overnight stay in Malé may be necessary.
