Location

The island is located in the almost untouched Raa Atoll and is surrounded by a breathtaking white sandy beach. The house reef (approx. 30–100m away) is ideal for diving and snorkeling. The transfer time from Malé airport is approx. 20 minutes by domestic flight followed by approx. 40 minutes by speedboat. Seaplane transfer (approx. 45 minutes) can be booked on request and for a fee.

This barefoot resort with 150 lovingly and modernly furnished villas offers relaxation for couples, families, and solo travelers. A total of six restaurants cater to your culinary needs, including a grill restaurant, a café, and six bars distributed around the island. In addition to the comfortable sun loungers on the villa terraces, parasols and loungers are available free of charge at the swimming pool and on the beach.

Deluxe Beach Villa

The Deluxe Beach Villas (approx. 74 m² including terrace) are located directly on the beach and feature a semi-open bathroom with outdoor shower, WC, bathtub, hairdryer, bathrobe, fan, air conditioning, minibar (for a fee), TV, safe, coffee/tea maker, kettle, and terrace with sea view (D2V/D3V). Available with pool for an extra charge (V2H).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased safety risk for young children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Water Villa

The Water Villas (approx. 95 m² including terrace) are built on stilts over the lagoon and feature a semi-open bathroom with outdoor shower, bathtub, WC, hairdryer, bathrobe, fan, air conditioning, minibar (for a fee), TV, safe, coffee/tea maker, kettle, and terrace with sea view and parasols (W2V).

Sunset Water Villa

The stylish Water Villas with sunset view feature a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, ceiling fan, safe, minibar, telephone, coffee/tea maker, Wi-Fi, satellite TV, and a king-size bed. They also offer a spacious terrace with sun loungers and direct access to the sea, as well as a dreamlike view of the sunset. (SWZ)

Speedboat: Expected operation for arrivals/departures between 5 a.m. and 11 p.m. // Domestic flight: Expected operation for arrivals/departures between 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. // Seaplane: Expected operation for arrivals/departures between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
Seaplane transfers may include 1–2 stopovers.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Malé must be booked in advance. The costs for this are to be borne by the guest. Exceptions include changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or long waiting times upon entry (in which case our local agency will handle any necessary overnight stay).
Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the island's location), as well as currently most domestic flights, only operate during daylight hours. Therefore, an overnight stay in Malé may be necessary.

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. With an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, there may only be 1 or 2 large beds available. Accordingly, it may happen that when 2 adults + 1 or 2 children share a room, one child must sleep in the parents' bed.
