Lagoon Bungalow priv. Pool-Speedboat

The spacious bungalow, built over the water and offering direct access to the lagoon, features a comfortable king-size bed, private pool, kettle (free of charge), minibar (for a fee), balcony or terrace, internet, safe (free of charge), capsule coffee machine (free of charge), and flat-screen satellite TV, as well as individually adjustable air conditioning year-round. The spacious bathroom offers a bathtub and shower (approx. 130 sqm, BU).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk for small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen has a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Bungalow MB priv. Pool-Speedboat

The "Ocean Bungalows" have similar amenities to the Lagoon Bungalows, but they also feature a separate living area with seating, offer a magnificent sea view, and are overall even more spacious (approx. 160 sqm, B2M).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk for small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen has a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Beach Bungalow Deluxe priv. Pool- Speedboat

The Beach Bungalows Deluxe with direct beach access have their own small stretch of beach and offer more privacy. The outdoor area features a private pool with a daybed for refreshing dips. The interior amenities are similar to the other bungalows (approx. 196 sqm, 2PX).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk for small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen has a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Speedboat: Operation for estimated arrival/departure from 5 AM to 11 PM // Domestic flight: Operation estimated for arrivals/departures from 9:30 AM to 4 PM // Seaplane: Operation expected for arrivals/departures from 9 AM to 3 PM.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
With seaplane transfers, there may be 1-2 intermediate landings.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Malé must be booked in advance. The costs for this are to be borne by the guest. Exceptions are changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or longer waiting times at immigration (our local agent will arrange for an intermediate overnight stay in such cases).
In some areas, the sand on the north side is mixed with coral; bathing shoes are recommended.

Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the island's location), and currently usually domestic flights as well, only operate during the day. Therefore, an overnight stay in Malé may be necessary.

The baggage allowance for seaplanes is 20 kg + 5 kg of hand luggage per person. Excess baggage must be paid for on site (approx. 5 USD per kg). Excess baggage is usually delivered by boat.

In the Maldives, washbasins or bathtubs/whirlpools may be integrated openly in the general living area of the hotel room without spatial separation.

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. For an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, there may be only 1 or 2 large beds available in total. Accordingly, it may happen that with 2 adults + 1 or 2 children in one room, a child has to sleep in the parents' bed.
