Location

The resort is nestled amidst the tranquil blue waters of the North Male Atoll, surrounded by excellent diving and snorkeling opportunities. The transfer time by speedboat from the main island of Male is approximately 20 minutes.

The island features 109 villas, spread across both land and overwater locations. Amenities include an Art Center, a boutique, and a jewelry store. For dining, there are a total of eight restaurants and lounges. The "Beach Shack" is located directly on the beach and serves fresh pizza, grilled meats, and seafood. The main restaurant is "Habitat". The overwater restaurant "Origin" offers Italian specialties and seafood. The "Aura Pool Bar & Cocktail Lab" is perfect for refreshments and cocktails. For champagne and local gin, the overwater bar "Eden" is ideal, offering over 30 different types of gin and more than 45 varieties of champagne. Another highlight is "SIP", a tea lounge with 51 types of tea, from which the hotel serves tea-based cocktails, sparkling teas, and even a fermented tea kombucha. Freshly prepared healthy drinks are served in the lounge "Skye", located within the Amingiri Spa. There is also the "Re:Fuel" lounge, which exclusively serves non-alcoholic beverages and snacks for teenagers. The resort has a large swimming pool. Sun loungers, beach towels, and umbrellas are provided free of charge.

Overwater Pool Villa

The approximately 154m² Overwater Pool Villa is situated on stilts directly over the water and features indoor and outdoor shower/WC, hairdryer, bathrobes, air conditioning, ceiling fan, TV, minibar (for a fee), tea/coffee making facilities, safe, and a private pool on the furnished terrace.
Villas with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk for small children. Therefore, for bookings of these room types, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children due to safety reasons.

Beach Pool Villa

The Beach Pool Villa (approx. 138m²) features the same amenities as the Overwater Pool Villa but is located directly on the beach and also offers private beach access. It can also be booked as a Family Beach Pool Villa with an additional sofa bed.
Villas with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk for small children. Therefore, for bookings of these room types, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children due to safety reasons.

Overwater Suite with Pool

The approximately 181m² Overwater Suite with Pool also features the same amenities as the Overwater Pool Villa but is larger with a separate living area, which is separated by a sliding door.

Speedboat: Operation for expected arrival/departure from 5 AM to 11 PM // Domestic (inland flight): Operation expected for arrivals/departures from 9:30 AM to 4 PM // Seaplane: Operation expected for arrivals/departures from 9 AM to 3 PM.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
With seaplane transfer, there may be 1-2 intermediate landings.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Male must be booked in advance. The costs for this are to be borne by the guest. Exceptions are changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or extended waiting times for entry (our local agency will take care of any necessary overnight stay in these cases).
Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the island's location) and currently most inland flights are only operated during the day. Therefore, an overnight stay in Male may be necessary.

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two Queen/King size beds. With an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, there may be a total of only 1 or 2 large beds available.
