Location

The island, approximately 750 m long and about 190 m wide, is located on the eastern outer reef of the North Male Atoll and is particularly popular with families and surfers. The transfer time to the airport is about 30 minutes by speedboat.

Facilities

The family-friendly resort offers a total of 75 villas, built on land or on stilts over the water. Amenities include an open reception area with a lounge and comfortable seating. For culinary delights, there are a total of 8 restaurants, a beach bar, and a pool bar. "The Restaurant" houses "Fire," an American steakhouse, "Earth" with Asian cuisine, and "Ocean" with delicious seafood, each offering beach views. Another restaurant, "The Hawkers," is located by the pool. It also offers Indian, Thai, and Italian cuisine in separate areas. Additionally, the new Japanese restaurant "Teppanyaki" has opened. The swimming pool is unique in the Maldives, and at 150 m long, it is the largest of its kind. Sunbeds, beach towels, and umbrellas are provided free of charge.

Accommodation

Water Villa

The Water Villas are approximately 150 sqm and feature a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, bathrobes/slippers, air conditioning, ceiling fan, safe, flat-screen TV, minibar (for a fee), and tea/coffee making facilities, as well as a furnished terrace with direct access to the sea and hammocks over the water.

Beach Villa Pool

The Beach Villas with private pool are approximately 152 sqm and, in addition to the same amenities as the Water Villa, feature a private pool (6m x 3m x 0.9m), direct beach access, an outdoor shower, and bicycles. They can also be booked for sunrise or sunset views at an additional charge. Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk for small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for bookings of these room types for children.

Water Villa Pool

The Water Villas with pool are approximately 182 sqm and, in addition to the same amenities as the Water Villa, feature a private pool (9m x 3.25m x 1.2m). They can also be booked for sunrise or sunset views at an additional charge. Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk for small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for bookings of these room types for children.

B&B/Half Board/Full Board

Rich breakfast in the main restaurant. For half board bookings, dinner is also available in "Ocean," "Spice," "Earth," "Fire," or "Ocean" as a 3-course menu. Drinks are not included. For full board bookings, lunch is also available in the "MED" restaurant.

All Inclusive

All Inclusive

Daily rich breakfast in the main restaurant, lunch at "Med," "East," or "Mar-Umi" as a three-course menu, and dinner at "Spice," "East," "Earth," "Fire," "Mar-Umi," or "Ocean," each as a three-course menu. Selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from 11 am to 11 pm at the open bar. The minibar is refilled every second day. In addition to All Inclusive for stays of at least 4 nights: a 60-minute massage per person (per stay, aged 18+), one excursion per stay (Sunset Cruise or snorkeling trip), and a combined sunset trip (once per stay). In addition to All Inclusive for stays of at least 7 nights: a surfing lesson, a Lobster Experience (one lobster per couple), and a Cigar Lounge Experience with whiskey and rum (sommelier's selection) or Chocolate Pairing.
