Location

The relatively large palm island (approx. 600 x 400 m) belongs to the North Male Atoll and is surrounded by a beautiful white sandy beach. For snorkelers and divers, the colorful and species-rich underwater world of the house reef, located 40-60 m away, guarantees impressive experiences. The outer reef is about 25 minutes away by boat. The transfer time from Male airport is approximately 15 minutes by speedboat.

Facilities

The island, popular with German guests for many years, offers 220 rooms grouped around the island. The reception area is located near the boat jetty. Amenities at this traditional resort include a buffet restaurant, the "Umi Yaki" à la carte restaurant with live cooking and sea views, the "Sea Breeze" coffee shop (open 24 hours), the "Huvan Bar," as well as other bars, a souvenir shop, and a jeweler. A well-tended tropical garden path leads past the beautiful swimming pool to the "Sand Bar" and the à la carte restaurants with terraces, which offer magnificent views over the lagoon. Sun loungers and pads are available at the pool free of charge.

Standard Beachfront Room

The spacious, locally-styled rooms (approx. 38 m²) are located in row bungalows with four units each and feature a visually separated living and sleeping area as well as a shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, safe, satellite TV, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, and a furnished terrace (D).

Deluxe Beachfront Room

Located in bungalows with two units each, these rooms are more spacious (approx. 54 m²) while offering the same amenities, and additionally feature a bathtub and a ceiling fan (DD2).

Superior Villa

Similar to the double rooms but larger (approx. 40 m²), these are located in a two-story building with 8 units, four on the ground floor and 4 on the first floor, each with its own balcony/terrace (VSU).

Beach Villa

The Beach Villas are larger than the double rooms (approx. 40 m²) with the same amenities, and additionally feature an outdoor shower, bathtub, and furnished terrace with direct beach access (2BV). Can also be booked with a private pool until 31.10.26 (VPZ).

Premium Beach Villa

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these are located in two-story villas (approx. 109 m²) in the south of the island and additionally feature a whirlpool on the lower floor (VE2).

Sunset Water Pool Villa

Larger than the double rooms (approx. 83 m²) and located on stilts over the water. Additionally, the Sunset Water Pool Villas feature a private pool and a whirlpool bathtub (W2Z).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for young children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet form in the main restaurant "Gallery". Selected drinks, classic & signature cocktails, selected mocktails, soft drinks, chilled fruit juice drinks, draft beer, a selection of coffee/tea/iced tea, house spirits, selected smoothies, and house wine at the currently open bars.
Afternoon tea, coffee, and snacks are served from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the "Sea Breeze." In addition to All Inclusive, there is a rental service for stand-up paddles, windsurfing, and canoe equipment (2 hours daily, subject to availability and excluding instruction).

Not included in All Inclusive

Freshly squeezed juices, premium spirits, liquors, selected wines, sparkling wine, cocktails, and room service are not included in the All Inclusive plan.

Speedboat: Expected for arrivals/departures from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. // Domestic flight: Expected for arrivals/departures from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. // Seaplane: Expected for arrivals/departures from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
Seaplane transfers may include 1–2 intermediate stops.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Male must be booked in advance. The costs for this are to be borne by the guest. Exceptions are changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or long waiting times at immigration (in such cases, our local agency will take care of a potential overnight stay).

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. With an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, there may only be 1 or 2 large beds available in total. Consequently, it may happen that with 2 adults + 1 or 2 children in one room, one child must sleep in the parents' bed.

All flight transfers as well as most boat transfers (depending on the island's location) are only carried out during the day. Therefore, an overnight stay in Male (near the airport) may be necessary.
