Location

The small island (approx. 300 x 350 m) on the eastern edge of the Ari Atoll is covered in lush, tropical vegetation. Directly in front of the island is the house reef with a steep wall and a small shipwreck, ideal for divers and snorkelers. The transfer from Male airport takes approximately 90 minutes by speedboat. Transfer by seaplane (approx. 30 minutes) can be booked on request for an additional charge.

This popular diver's resort with a total of 112 rooms offers a friendly reception with a seating area, a souvenir shop, and a library. For culinary delights, there is the main restaurant "Madi" and "The Junction" restaurant serving traditional Maldivian and Indonesian cuisine. Enjoy cool refreshments at a total of two bars and the café. Visit the hotel's own "Marine Biology" station to learn interactively about the coral ecosystem and the diverse local marine life through exchanges with marine biologists.
The swimming pool with a pool bar and sun terrace is located near the beach. Sun loungers, parasols, and beach towels are available free of charge.

Superior Sea View Double Room

The Superior double rooms (approx. 52 m²) are located in two-story buildings (four units each) and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, safe, plasma TV, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, and sea view (DSM/EMU/DMR).

Beach Bungalow

The beach bungalows (38 m²) offer the same facilities and a stylish ambiance; they are detached and also feature a terrace with a sea view (SBZ/SEB/RSB).

Water Bungalow

The water bungalows (2 units per water bungalow) are built on stilts over the sea and feature the same amenities as the beach bungalows but with 79 m² and additional bathrobes/slippers (2WB).
Note: There is no direct access to the sea from the terrace!

The standard rooms (approx. 35 m²) are located in the interior of the island and feature a semi-open bathroom, WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, ceiling fan, direct-dial telephone, minibar (for a fee), TV, coffee/tea maker, and a terrace with garden view (D/DE).

Hotel-independent transfer information (please check your booking confirmation for the transfer times valid for your hotel):
Speedboat: Scheduled for arrivals/departures from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. // Domestic flight: Scheduled for arrivals/departures from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. // Seaplane: Scheduled for arrivals/departures from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfers are possible.
There may be 1–2 stopovers for seaplane transfers.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Male must be booked in advance. The costs for this must be borne by the guest. Exceptions are changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or long waiting times at immigration (in such cases, our local agency will arrange for a possible overnight stay).
On the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. With an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, there may only be 1 or 2 large beds available in total. Consequently, it may happen that when 2 adults + 1 or 2 children are in one room, a child must sleep in the parents' bed.

Travel information

All flight transfers as well as most boat transfers (depending on the island's location) only operate during daylight hours. This may result in an overnight stay in Male (near the airport).

The baggage allowance for seaplanes is 20 kg + 3 kg carry-on per person. Excess baggage must be paid for on-site (approx. 5 USD per kg). Excess baggage is usually delivered by boat.

In the Maldives, washbasins or bathtubs/whirlpools may be integrated openly into the general living area of the hotel room without a physical partition.
