Location

The luxurious hotel is located on Kuredhivaru island in the Noonu Atoll, north of Male. The house reef is directly in front of the island. Transfer is by seaplane and takes approximately 45 minutes.

Facilities

The resort, newly opened in November 2018, features 105 villas spread across land and overwater. Amenities include a reception area with a front desk, a souvenir shop, and a business center. For dining, there are 3 restaurants; the main restaurant "ONU Marché" serves international dishes in buffet style with live cooking stations. The island has 2 swimming pools, an infinity pool, and a children's pool. Sun loungers, mattresses, umbrellas, and beach towels are included at the beach and pool.

Beach Pool Villa Deluxe

The Beach Pool Villa Deluxe (V2H) (approx. 190 m²) features a bedroom, a living area, and a private sala on the upper level (approx. 9 m²). The amenities include a bathroom with a freestanding bathtub, toilet, outdoor shower, hairdryer, bathrobes/slippers, walk-in closet, air conditioning, LCD TV, safe, minibar with wine cooler (for a fee), espresso machine and tea maker, LCD TV, terrace with sun loungers, private pool, and direct beach access with sea views. Also available for booking on the sunset side (V2S) at an additional charge.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk for small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen has a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Overwater Villa Lagoon

The Overwater Villa Lagoon (OV2) (approx. 140 m²), built on stilts directly over the sea, offers the same amenities but without a private sala. Additionally, it features a glass floor in the bedroom and an outdoor dining and lounge area with a private plunge pool and direct sea access. Also available for booking on the sunrise side (WXS) at an additional charge.

Overwater Pool Villa Ocean

With the same amenities as the Overwater Villa Lagoon, including a private pool, and located on the ocean side. (WVP)

International breakfast buffet. For half board bookings, a dinner buffet is also served at the main restaurant "ONU Marché". For full board bookings, lunch and dinner buffets are served at the main restaurant "ONU Marché", as well as lunch at the à la carte restaurant "Latitude 5.5", soft drinks, water, coffee & tea during meals at ONU Marché.
Dine-around option for lunch and dinner at all 3 restaurants: a special 3-course menu or a 25% discount on the regular à la carte menu at Latitude 5.5, Bodumas, or our main buffet at ONU Marche.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the form of extensive buffets at the main restaurant "ONU Marché" or dinner at the à la carte restaurant "Latitude 5.5" as a 3-course menu. Selected alcoholic beverages (beer, house wine, gin, vodka, rum, whiskey, tequila, daily selection of cocktails and mocktails) and non-alcoholic beverages (water, soft drinks, coffee, tea) by the glass at the respective open bars from 11 am to 11 pm.

Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
There may be 1-2 intermediate landings with seaplane transfers.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Male must be booked in advance. The costs for this are to be borne by the guest. Exceptions are changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or long waiting times at immigration (in these cases, our local agent will arrange for any necessary overnight stay).
From February 2021, a deposit will be required via credit card or cash upon check-in, which will be credited back upon check-out.

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two Queen/King size beds. For a occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, there may be only 1 or 2 large beds available in total. Accordingly, it may happen that in a room with 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, a child has to sleep in the parents' bed.

Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on island location) and currently often domestic flights are only operated during daylight hours. Therefore, an overnight stay in Male may be necessary.

The baggage allowance for seaplanes is 20 kg + 3 kg hand luggage per person. Excess baggage must be paid for on site (approx. USD 5 per kg). Excess baggage is usually delivered by boat.
