Location

The resort (adults-only 18+ from 1/11/25) is located in the Meemu Atoll, surrounded by the spectacular shades of blue of the lagoon, on two islands connected by a footbridge. The capital, Male, is approximately 148 km away. The house reef (approx. 900m away) invites guests to go snorkeling and diving. The transfer time is approx. 45 minutes by domestic flight and an additional 10 minutes by speedboat (operated for arrivals before 3 pm/departures after 10:10 am). The seaplane transfer can be booked for an additional charge (operated for arrivals before 3:15 pm/departures after 9:30 am).

The resort, newly opened in December 2019, has a total of 100 rooms located on land and on stilts over the water. The hotel extends over a main island and a secondary island, with the secondary island being the adults-only area. The secondary island is exclusively for guests of the Platinum Beach Bungalows. Amenities in this hotel, which is particularly popular with couples, include an open reception area, a souvenir shop, and a doctor stationed on the island. Let yourself be pampered by an extensive All-Inclusive concept. The main restaurant "Malaafaiy" serving local and international cuisine, an à-la-carte restaurant "The Crab" serving seafood, and "MANZARU" in the adults-only area (exclusive to Platinum Beach Bungalow guests) with international buffet dishes, as well as a pool bar, cater to your physical well-being. On the secondary island, there is also a main restaurant, a lounge, and a pool bar by the swimming pool; this area is reserved solely for Platinum Beach Bungalow guests. The swimming pool, located directly on the dreamlike lagoon of the main island, invites guests to relax. Sunshades, loungers with cushions, and beach towels are available free of charge at the pool.

Beach Bungalow

The Beach Bungalows (approx. 50 m² incl. outdoor area) feature a bedroom and a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, TV, rental safe, and minibar (for a fee). Further features include a furnished terrace with direct beach access. The bungalows are located directly on the beach. (2BG)

Platinum Beach Bungalow

With similar equipment to the Beach Bungalow garden side (70 m²), located on the secondary island and connected to the main island by a bridge, the room additionally features bathrobes/slippers, a portable sound system, and a coffee machine, as well as a furnished terrace with direct access to the beach (EY2/EY3).

Water Bungalow

With the same equipment as the Platinum Beach Bungalow, larger (approx. 85 m² including outdoor area), built over the water, and additionally featuring a glass floor, a hammock over the water, and direct access to the sea (2WB/3WB). These rooms are located on the main island. Also bookable on the sunset side. (SWZ/SWT)

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the form of rich buffets in the main restaurant. Selected snacks in the form of a small buffet in the morning (10:30-11:30 am), afternoon (4-6 pm), and night (10:30-11:30 pm, upon request). Selected local alcoholic drinks (beer, house wine, local spirits, daily selection of cocktails and mocktails) and non-alcoholic drinks (water, soft drinks, canned juices, coffee, tea) by the glass from approx. 7:30 am - 12 am in the respective open bars. The minibar is replenished daily with water, soft drinks, and beer.

Premium All Inclusive (bookable until 31/10/26)

In addition to All Inclusive: a bottle of sparkling wine upon arrival, daily replenishment of the minibar (beer, soft drinks, water, miniature spirits, chocolate, and chips), a selection of premium drinks, fresh fruit juices, milkshakes, and daily turn-down service including chocolate. Two selected excursions and one dinner on the beach per stay. For stays of 5 nights or more, guests also receive a 60-minute spa treatment.

Speedboat: Operated for expected arrival/departure from 5 am to 11 pm // Domestic flight: Operated expectedly for arrivals/departures from 9:30 am to 4 pm // Seaplane: Operated expectedly for arrivals/departures from 9 am to 3 pm.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more until the onward transfer are possible.
There may be 1–2 stopovers during seaplane transfers.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Male must be booked in advance. The costs for this must be borne by the guest. Excluded are changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or long waiting times at immigration (in such cases, our local agency will take care of a potential overnight stay).
Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the location of the island), as well as currently most domestic flights, only operate during daylight hours. Therefore, an overnight stay in Male may be necessary.
