Location

The island, approximately 1000 m x 200 m with lush vegetation and a beautiful white sandy beach, is located on the east side of the Meemu Atoll. The outer reef, a prime diving area, is about 500-600 m from the beach; in front of it, you will find a beautiful lagoon. The transfer from the airport island Hulhule takes about 2.5 hours by speedboat. A seaplane transfer (approx. 45 minutes) is available at an additional charge. When booking a seaplane, you will have access to the Neeri Lounge in the Seaplane Terminal.

Facilities

The island offers ideal conditions for divers, those seeking peace and quiet, and sun worshippers, and features a total of 112 villas, a reception area with seating and an internet corner, a souvenir shop, the main restaurant “Malaafayi” (international and local cuisine), the à la carte restaurant “Alfresco” situated on stilts over the sea, and a bar with a magnificent view of the lagoon where you can enjoy cocktails and snacks. The swimming pool with a sun terrace is located on the beach; loungers, umbrellas, and towels are provided free of charge.

Beach Villa Semi Detached

These accommodations are similar in amenities and size to the Beach Villas and are located in semi-detached bungalows, each with two adjacent living units. Therefore, they are not standalone bungalows. The living area is approximately 65 m² including the outdoor space. (BVZ)

Beach Suite

The Beach Suite (including outdoor area 178 m²) consists of two Beach Villas, connected by a covered outdoor seating area. (BS2)

Waiting times of 3 hours or more until onward transfer are possible.
The seaplane transfer may include 1-2 intermediate stops.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Malé must be booked in advance. The costs for this are to be borne by the guest. Exceptions are changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or extended waiting times upon entry (in these cases, our local agency will arrange an intermediate overnight stay).

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. For an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, there may only be one or two large beds available in total. Consequently, it may happen that in a room for 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, one child has to sleep in the parents' bed.

All flight transfers, as well as most boat transfers (depending on the island's location), are only conducted during daylight hours. Therefore, an overnight stay in Malé (near the airport) may be necessary.
