Location

The island, approx. 1000 m x 200 m in size, with lush vegetation and a beautiful white sandy beach, is located on the eastern side of the Meemu Atoll. The outer reef, a first-class diving area, is approx. 500-600 m from the beach; in front of it, you will find a beautiful lagoon. The transfer from Hulhule airport island takes approx. 2.5 hours by speedboat. Transfer by seaplane (approx. 45 minutes) is available at an additional charge.

Facilities

The island offers ideal conditions for divers, those seeking peace and quiet, and sun worshippers, and has a total of 112 villas, a reception with a seating area and internet corner, a souvenir shop, the main restaurant “Malaafayi” (international and local cuisine), the à la carte restaurant “Alfresco” located on stilts over the sea, and a bar with a magnificent view of the lagoon where you can enjoy cocktails and snacks. By the beach, there is the swimming pool with a sun terrace; loungers, umbrellas, and towels are free of charge.

Beach Villa Semi Detached

The accommodations correspond to the Beach Villas in terms of amenities and size, and are located in semi-detached bungalows, each with two adjacent living units. Therefore, they are not freestanding bungalows. The living area is approx. 65 m² including the outdoor area. (BVZ)

Beach Suite

The Beach Suite (including outdoor area 178 m²) features two Beach Villas, connected by a covered outdoor seating area. (BS2)

Speedboat: Operation for approx. arrival/departure between 5 am and 11 pm // Domestic flight: Operation approx. for departures/arrivals between 9:30 am and 4 pm // Seaplane: Operation expected for departures/arrivals between 9 am and 3 pm.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
With seaplane transfers, there may be 1-2 stopovers.
If arriving/departing outside the above times, in case of bad weather, or for longer waiting times during entry, an overnight stay in Male may be necessary.
