Location

The resort is located in the southeast of the Lhaviyani Atoll on the island of Thilamaafushi. The 9-hectare island features unique flora and fauna. The transfer time from the airport is 35 minutes by seaplane.

The resort features a total of 134 villas. Facilities include a 24-hour reception and a souvenir shop. Dining options include six different restaurants and bars, including "Tabemasu" serving traditional Japanese cuisine, the "Waves" Cafe, or the "La Vie Bar" (18+ only) with views of the sunset. There are two swimming pools in total, one of which is an adults-only pool. Umbrellas, sun loungers with pads, and beach towels are available free of charge at the swimming pools and on the beach.

Accommodation

Beach Villa

The Beach Villas are approx. 82m² in size and feature a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, minibar (partly for a fee), safe, coffee/tea making facilities, and a terrace with seating (2BV). Optionally bookable with a private pool as a Beach Pool Villa (VPZ).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased potential hazard for small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen imposes a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Sunrise Water Villa

The villas are approx. 100m² in size and, with the same facilities as the Beach Villas, additionally include a bathtub, a hammock directly over the water, and direct access to the sea (2OR). Available at a surcharge on the sunset side (2OT).

Lagoon Villa

With the same facilities and size as the Ocean Villa Sunrise, the Lagoon Villas are located directly in the first row to the beach and feature direct beach access. The hammock is located over the beach (LV2).

Waiting times of 3 hours or more until onward transfer are possible.
There may be 1–2 stopovers during the seaplane transfer.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Malé must be booked in advance. The costs for this are to be borne by the guest. Excluded are changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or long waiting times upon entry (in these cases, our local agency will take care of a potential overnight stay).
Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the location of the island) as well as currently most domestic flights are only carried out during the day. It may therefore be necessary to spend an overnight stay in Male.
